P65.4C 6.5 Inch Car Speakers (Pair), 400 Watts, 4 Way

I installed this and the whole system All Boss Audio on a 98 Chevy ext cab (3 door) for a welcome home present for my husband(he was gone for the military). The original speakers are located in the truck towards the top by the back window. Well those are 4x6. I cut a hole in the back door and on the other side in the same place.(Its only a door in one side) And i just clipped the wire and put new wire running under the carpet. I drilled a hole in the side of the door and ran the wire up through the door seal. I had to cut some metal too, not just the plastic panels. You have to have something to mount the speaker to. And put foam in between the speaker and metal or it might rattle. I used the same speaker for the rear but in the 6 by 9 inch. I also have the Boss Bass800 Amplified Sub and the Boss BV7320 Receiver. It sounds absolutely amazing for a low cost system. I wish I would have bought a better receiver as this one is hard to wire in and I still haven't figured out how to get the video to work. I also can't use the aux cables but I'm assuming its the same reason that the video won't work. I tried contacting customer service but I always get put on hold and I left a message a couple times but never heard anything back. That's why it only gets 4 stars. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. But, It is a very good product. The system has been in about 4 months and it still sounds good. The sub is broke in now. It gives just enough bass for a truck. The receiver has started making a weird noise when turning on coming from the CD player. Not sure why.

Look to be well made and the sound quality is way better than the 320 watt pioneers that I replaced with these much deeper and more of a surround sound to them great up grade for the price

Bought these for my 2004 BMW 325i and Amazon stated that they fit my car. Maybe they fit for the rear deck speakers but they DO NOT fit for the front lower door speakers. I had to remove the rubber cover on the magnet and cut a 1/4 inch section out of the panel standoff. I also used RTV silicone glue to hold it in place even though it was tight without it and the back of the speaker pressed on the door. After all that work it had great High frequency from the tweeters but the location of the speaker reduces the bass. Nice construction . works but needs better bass.

Speakers sound great. Came in time. Big ups to the delivery driver who hid them behind the sign so thieves won't take them.

It's larger than most 6.5 speakers (n diameter) and will NOT fit my 2005 Acura TL (Although Amazon indicated that it does). Double check on other websites before you buy this. I was not able to fully install this (because it did not fit) but I was able to run some test on it. Lows: Bass is awesome for a 6.5. This is where this item shines. Mids: This does a fairly decent job. Highs: This is where this product is lacking in performance. I switch the EQ to high frequency and I honestly did not notice any major differences from my Acura stock speakers. I then ran it side by side with a 6.5 Infinity Reference series, the Infinity rocks. I wish I had gotten two pairs of the Infinity instead but I was trying to save money and went with this cheaper pair. For the price, it's an awesome deal if you are looking for a little more lows and mids. If you are looking for highs, look for something else or get yourself a separate set of tweeters.

I replaced the speakers in my Quad Cab Dakota (that I just had totally restored) with these Boss Phantoms in all 4 doors..I do love quality, but didn't want to spend a ton of money on fancy component speakers and amplifiers, as I have done that with past vehicles. Like other reviewers, I spend many hours doing my research finding the right fit for my needs. I got them quickly from Amazon and I was super impressed by the quality and finish of these speakers. These speakers are way better than the stock speakers (dual cone) could ever be, but they were starving for power that my stock radio couldn't give them. Needless to say, I replaced the factory stereo with a VR3 deck I had with preamp output and purchased a Rockford Fosgate Punch 4 channel amp/w 300watts RMS. With 75 watts RMS to drive each speaker(rated @ 100 watts RMS) these speakers crank, don't distort, tight hard hitting bass and great sound quality. I don't see how they can sell these so cheap ? They are worth so much more. The addition of even a modest sized powered sub woofer would really round this system out. I highly recommend them !!!
