That is what it is more than its taste or flavour. Buy a few packets, and they become handy on a rainy day!

Don't know why people leaving less ratings for the way it tastes. I think there will be always a difference the way freshly cooked food will taste than packed ones. And this one met my expectations, although this one is more like vegetable pulao and not biryaniIt's little spicy too.. Like more black pepper in throat. Should go better worth curd/raita along side

It's not biryani, no biryani flavour at all, better call it as vegetable rice.Very dry, even after dipping in hot water as mentioned it doesn't taste good and rice is not soft/cooked. Not a biryani quality rice, it's little longer than usual, but fat. To get some taste out of it empty the contents to a kadai, sprinkle some water and reheat it.Prominant preservative smell, instead of 12months expiry they can decrease preservatives and can decrease expiry to 6 months. Taste and quality are important, not how long it stays on shelf.

Taste is litreally like, as if you are eating a khichdi and that too not so good dont buy it if you are not travelling any where its not that useful
