This necklace features a fabulous vintage glass rhinestone from 1950's Czechoslovakia. This stone is a montana sapphire teardrop or pear, and is set in antiqued brass settings. The rhinestones are transparent and the setting is open to let the light through. In a bit of a twist, I've set this stone with the back side up, showing the facets, similar to some vintage costume jewelry designers. The pendant is about 3/4 inch long, the chain is 18 inches. This necklace closes with a rose box clasp, for a bit of pretty at the nape of the neck, or wear the clasp at the front to enhance the teardrop. Matching earrings are available.
