Good but not great
Good but not great. Price point is the biggest selling point for this star projector. While it has a good mix of features: remote control, app access, bluetooth speaker, muti-color "galaxy" effect. The main draws were app access, timer/automation function and color changeability. This all come at a hidden cost however. The projector needs to be anchored to a device to remain Wi-Fi accessable. The built in timer, has a four hour limitation. Easy to work around, set up 3 hour 59 min time cycles to make it through the night. Does it work? I have no idea. The projector gets disconnected at some point. Is my device out of the prescribed range (10m)? Plausible, however my other bluetooth devices work at similar distances without issue. The "galaxy" effect, is a ripply bubble. Which is cool but not the nebulous diffusion I was thinking. Can I/you live with it? Absolutely. The effect is nice. The stars are not crisp points of light. They are pixelated and seem to be obscured on purpose. Perhaps for safety, perhaps due to bad optics. Problem? Not really.Within the app you can control the sccene colors. This changes the colors displayed in the galaxy effect. While it will save your changes to an existing scene, you are not able to create new/copy existing effects (or I have not been able to achieve at least). The light is very bright and it is entertaining. It would be nice to control the laser lights via the app both their intensity and simply on/off. This can only handled via the remote.Overall though this is a good product and I would recommend.

Beautiful effects and great lighting options.
I would rate this one 5 stars, but I also bought a white one (same brand) that was defective and the laser was broken when I got it, so the white one is being sent back. I ordered another black one and am hoping it works like mine. This one has amazing light effects, colors and options and does make a great gift when it operates properly.(I don’t have Alexa, so I can’t rate that and I haven’t used the Bluetooth or speakers, so I can’t rate those either.).All in all I love it, use it everyday, and would buy again.

Great gift for Christmas
I’ve gotten my projector today, and my family was happy to open it. My kids were hypnotized by the beauty that it gives when the light in the room is off. It looks like your walls and ceiling like a pool.It also works from the Smart Life app and it has a remote control with 4 colours that you can mix between each other. Colours are much better in life that on the pictures, because camera can’t give all the brightness. In addition i tried to use the speaker when I connected it with Bluetooth with my phone.Projector was delivered on time and it was easy to set it up.I hope we’ll have a lot of fun during kids party’s and story time. I think it’s a great gift for Christmas.I got this projector for the honest review.

It's ok
This projector has two components. A moving LED that simulates kind of a water effect. And a green laser. The laser is bright and easily visible in daylight. But it's only green. It doesn't change color. And it's fixed. The laser doesn't move or change pattern. The LED changes colors and moves in slow intersecting circles. The shapes don't change. The Alexa controls are simple on/off and brightness and color. The color is weird though. If you change it to purple, it shows some purple shapes but also red shapes. You can't get it to all one color without using a scene, which Alexa can't control without setting up a routine manually. Also if you found this by searching for "galaxy projector," note that this does not project anything remotely resembling celestial objects. Except green stars. This has taken itself offline/crashed twice in its first night. You have to switch it off then back on to get it to work again.

Well made, easy to operate
Bought this for Christmas gift for kids of my friend.Order delivery was prompt.I tested it before gift packing.Came with simple and easy to understand instructions, remote control. This projection light speaker is pretty neat as it could be control by using Alexa or google. The device is great!!! I love the light effects and the galaxy.Love it can change the settings with the remote can have music connected or turn it on and have the music loud and it sense the vibration and the lights with flash to the beat. It’s a neat light show will look impressive in a kids room or for kids party.

Disappointed
The worst part for me is that lights disconnect from google home on their own. So you cannot actually turn it on using google home.Overall the colors are nice. But the pattern on the LED looks like floating circles and less of the waves pattern of other projector lights. The laser stars don’t look nice (crowded and too bright)

my kid loves it
My 3 month old son loves this thing but I'm not the hugest fan. The laser only has two settings, constantly on and bright or fades from off to too bright and back off and on again. It is entirely too loud and every time I turn it on, it screams "Bluetooth connected" and it says that no matter what setting you are on, whether it be, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. I had the hardest time connecting it to my phone and the strangest thing, I unplugged it to move it when my son moved to a crib and it stayed connected to my phone but then a few weeks later my sister unplugged it on accident while trying to plug in her charger and now I cant for the life of me get it back on. After connecting it to my phone the first time, ever since the remote has been practically obsolete, it only turns the thing on, not even off. The most annoying part for me is the fact that it says it has a timer but doesn't specify that the timer is set for 3 hours and you cannot change it, I was hoping it would stay on between a certain time (it offers me a time frame option in the app but it does not actually work) not worth the price.
