Works as it should
Purchased to replace the exact same pump that failed on our boat. Has been working fine for 6+ months now.

Just what I needed
I put this in my boat with a timer as a dry bilge system and so far, after a year or more, it works great and my bilge stays dry.

2nd pump crapped out with minimum use
After 15 years our wash down pump on our 2003 center counsel - went bad - so we bought this pump as a replacement after 6 months it died so they replaced it and the replacement after another 6 months crapped out with minimum use due to not getting on the water.

Decent water pumps, reasonable durability.
I switched from Shur-Flo pumps to Johnson about 6 years ago as the price for Shur-Flo went very high and these seemed like a bargain by comparison. Neither of the brands lasts as well as the Shur-Flo pumps for the 80's or 90's, but these seem to be OK as far as durability is concerned.I use them full time being an off grid (no marina) salt water liveaboard, and get 3 plus years out of one before it needs servicing. The motors seem very strong and my first one from 6 years ago is still going strong after a pump rebuild 2 years ago. So all in all i am happy with them.I did get one a couple of years ago with a cracked pump housing, which i replaced. It still worked well enough but dripped. The pumps do run quietly, and provide a good flow of water. One problem with the old Shur-Flo pumps was the pressure switch that would fail too often. I have not had a pressure switch failure on any of these Johnson pumps i have installed.

Came fast . Same one that I had so install was easy
Can’t wait to try it. Going fishing in a week. Hooked it to a garden hose and seemed to work the way it was supposed to. Shut off when it got up to pressure .
