Damn bulbs keeps burning out with these headlights, what bulbs should I use for replacements?

I use phillips brand bulbs and have never had any burn out since installation several months ago.

does the light have turn, night, hi/low functionality built in? My headlight assembly is all the above. Also- manually adjustable??

The lights can be manually adjusted, but do not have auto focusing/curve lighting.

Does it fit 2009 Jetta city? Vin M 8th digit

These fit my MKV golf, they will most likely fit a MKV Jetta as well.

Do these take stock bulbs or H1?

Stock bulbs fit right in, you'll have to back the retention screws out a bit to get the bulbs in when you first install them
