First of all...kudos to the company that sell the Peppermint Plants. One piece was slightly damaged. I reached out to them via email and they replaced the item immediately. The communication was excellent.These are made of the corrugated cardboard. Which is ok. They with stood the snowy, rainy, and windy weather. However, the double-sided "sticky" squares were a challenge to peel, in order to have both sides stick. My suggestion - before using the sticky squares...set (at least) one up. Fiddle around w/ it, to see if the placement of the Peppermints, Plastic Rods, and Bows suit you. I preferred my Peppermint Plants to be slightly tall. So, the plastic rods were placed slightly longer in the back.After placing them outside (with the sticky squares only), there was a shooting in the area. The victim (who is ok now) collapsed near our home, leaving blood on the sidewalk nearby. The fire department had to pressure clean the sidewalk. They also sprayed one of the Peppermint Plants causing the Bows to fall off. The great news is the Peppermint Trees withheld the pressure although the Bows didn't.So, I needed and wanted a creative way to place the Bows. Using the gold fasteners that spread out in the back works great! You'll have to use something with a sharp point to poke through it.I like these Peppermint Plants. I plan on ordering a few more sets and I'll just use the gold fasteners instead of the sticky squares.The battery operated lights lasted for about a month. I just didn't turn them off. At all.

It looks nice in the picture but it’s really garbage. The instructions are terrible. The pieces are cheap. Tried to put it together and the stakes went through to the next piece. It was a waste of time and energy to even try. Don’t waste your money

Absolutely adorable. Perfect size. Issue is it refuses to stay up. Very flimsy. Material needs to be thicker. I'm very disappointed because I can't use it outside like I wanted to, but I'm determined to find a place inside for it.

I put it together the two towers like the instructions said. Then I stapled the green bows to the front of the peppermint circles. I can hardly see the staples, so it works well to make it sturdier. Then I made a unit with one smaller peppermint circle with one bow for ground level. The metal H-shaped stakes I stuck into the tall tower to stick into the ground. I used two smaller rods to stick into the one peppermint circle for a ground stake to create the ground stake for the smaller one. Both the tall tower and ground level structures are very sturdy. I might even sprinkle them with gold sparkles and then give them a spray of clear acrylic coating so that it's more weatherproof for the winter weather. With a little innovation, all in all, it looks very nice and more expensive than it costs. I definitely recommend this as a lawn or porch decoration. I'm going to put it on either side of my backyard gazebo.

Would have liked the material made thicker

They look pretty, but there's nothing else I like about this item. My fault though. I was researching for metal Christmas decorations and they popped up. I didn't bother reading the description. They are made of cardboard, no instructions (although easy to figure out), and I know they will never survive the wind. Cheaply made. For now, I'm not even going to bother to put them together, probably will end up in the trash.

I really enjoy seeing these on either side of my driveway. Next year will have them on either side of door. They have held up to strong wind and some snow mix. Were easy to put together and I imagine to store.

These are great for the purpose I intended! Pricey though! I got them for $17, then found cheaper elsewhere. Shop around.
