I would not purchase this frame
As an amateur photographer, I have purchased many frames over the years, both pre-made and custom, and there is not one feature of this frame I like.I was fairly stunned at the plexiglass and even more surprised by the cheap cardboard backing. I cannot believe for the price the manufacturer didn't use at least paperboard. The frame was not properly cut or sanded in one corner, which is noticeable. But the greater issue I have with this frame is that it did not come with an adjustable hanging kit. I cannot remember the last time I purchased a pre-made frame that did not have one. Further, the very small, cheaply made hanger is a push-in tack hanger and not one that secures to the frame with small nails. The retail value of this frame is about $13 not $23. I would not purchase this frame again.

Cheap plastic makes this frame useless
The cheap plastic used in the frame causes noticeable warp and glare. Also, if the frame is used for a gloss or metallic-finish picture, and any pressure is applied to the front of the plastic after assembly it causes the plastic to stick to the picture underneath, which then requires complete removal of the picture from the frame to fix. Given the low price, I certainly didn't expect this frame to be particularly high quality, but I also didn't expect complete junk.

Perfect Size, Reasonable Price
I needed to reframe a thrift store picture that had some water damage on the border around the print. After I trimmed off the damaged border, the print was an odd size and I did not want to pay a lot of money for a new frame. I was so happy to find this seller. I could order the exact size I needed, get the exact color I wanted and the price was really nice. The frame was packed well and arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The frame itself is sturdy and well made. It was easy to frame the print and it looks awesome. Pleased with the seller and the frame. Sorry for the late review but I just got around to doing the reframing.

Missing Parts - Undependable and Careless Distributor/Manufacturer
Ordered 2 of these frames. One arrived without its mounting hardware. Contacted Amazon customer service. 2 options, send the huge package back to them or contact the manufacturer/distributor. I thought I'll simply contact the manufacturer and ask them to mail me the 2 small screws and the metal wire that was missing - how hard could it be?WRONG.Kim, the manager at Art to Frames told me (numerous times just to make sure that I, the mere consumer, understood her sophisticated logic - she at one point said, "let me put it to you in bullet points so you can understand") that because I did not purchase it directly from them but rather through Amazon LLC, that she and Art to Frames cannot be held responsible for any missing parts.Mind you, the missing parts in question are two small screws and a metal wire. How much would it cost to manufacture and ship those things? She then encouraged me to write a bad review saying that it will have no bearing on their business. So here it is.Kim the manager, and Art to Frames is a careless manufacturer and distributor who take no responsibility for the quality of the work they perform or the items that they manufacture (and sell). They will even make it a point to speak down to you for 20 minutes to justify why they can't help you correct their mistake. And indeed it is their mistake because the parts are taped to the frames in a sealed box. Amazon never has access to the contents of these boxes.Their policy is, what we sell to other major resellers like Amazon, is not our responsibility because you're buying it from them.We all know of instances where manufacturers will go out of their way to help a customer in need not only by replacing a defective or missing part but in many cases giving you a new replacement item for free!Of course, when I told Kim this, she said, "We're not Hasbro. We're Art to Frames."You certainly are.If companies think that this sort of customer service and lack of manufacturing quality control has no direct bearing on their business, they have another thing coming. We all know because we read the negative reviews.PS When I contacted Amazon customer service regarding this terrible interaction, they expressed complete dismay over the way Art to Frames handled this. Amazon apologized profusely and is sending a replacement frame free of charge with 1-day express shipping. Furthermore, they have forwarded this experience to their business management team and will investigate the way Art to Frames manufacture their items and treat mutual customers. Interesting note: Amazon told me that in fact, Art to Frames IS the distributor of the item. So basically, Art to Frames takes no responsibility for what they manufacture AND what they distribute.

buyer beware
I hate giving low reviews, but these are so cheap it's astonishing that there isn't some sort of regulation preventing them from being sold. Plexiglas has been the norm for large frames for years now (most likely because large sheets of glass are too difficult/expensive to ship without breaking) but this is so thin it shouldn't even qualify as Plexiglas. It's more like a sheet of lamination. Additionally, the cardboard backing is ultra thin and soft. The combination of the two is so thin that when you try to pick up the frame, if any of your fingers happen to extend beyond the frame and touch the plexiglas/cardboard, even very lightly, it will instantly and buckle and pop past some of the little metal tabs, cracking in the process! Basically it's so thin that it's difficult to handle it without damaging it.Additionally, of the two frames I ordered from this company, the first one arrived in the wrong size and the second one arrived missing the hanging hardware. Luckily, Amazon's return policy allowed me to return the one that was the wrong size, and I happened to have an extra set of hanging hardware to use for the second one. Additionally, the item I was framing was on a thick piece of foamboard which ended up providing some strength to the frame allowing me to handle it without the center buckling. That's the only reason I didn't return the second one too. There are similarly priced frames at Target (and at Michaels when there is a sale) with thicker plexiglas, thicker backing, and hanging hardware that comes already attached, and you can physically inspect them for scratches. If you can find your frame size there, it is worth the trip. If you can't, I would recommend paying more to get your custom size made elsewhere. This brand is an embarrassment.

It's Fine
Just received this today. It came in a surprisingly large box, and was well packaged. The plexiglass was covered in plastic film on both sides, and there were no major scratches. Overall, it works fine. It is pretty light, and the plexiglass is really thin. The finish on the frame is ok, looks like it was spray-painted and there is no attempt to sand or otherwise smooth out the finish.Still, for the price, it is a good frame. My 24x36 poster fit perfectly. Yes, there is some assembly required: you have to install the picture wire hardware. But that is straightforward after Googling how to tie the wire. A cordless drill and a 5/64" drill bit makes it easy to install the hardware to the frame.

Cheap looking frame
Although the frame was very well protected, nicely packaged and arrived literally the next day, I was quite disappointed when unboxing it. The overall quality looks pretty cheap and leaves a lot to be desired, the plexiglas is too thin and so is the frame material itself. Also, you have to drill the wall mounts to the back of the frame yourself... Well that's a first! I have bought many frames in the past and never had to drill the hardware myself.I bought this frame expecting a slightly better quality than the Ikea ones (can't believe I paid $54 for this thing), I guess I should have just paid less for an Ikea frame, at least I would've known what to expect...

12" x 12" Wooden/glass picture frames.
I am extremely pleased with the frames I purchased. Thank you SO much, Amazon, for alerting me to them!!I would never have known that they were on sale and available if you hadn't contacted me. They are exactly what I was looking for. :)

Nice, economical frame
The frame is a nice quality alternative. It does not have glass, but plexi that is wrapped and protected on both sides. The hanging kit gives a lot of alternatives as well as a hook and nail. I liked them so well I bought some more!

Decent frame, but dusty
It's not a fancy frame, but it gets the job done. The backing is brown cardboard, so if the picture or poster isn't an exact fit you'll want to combine it with some black construction paper.I had to spend some time cleaning sawdust off the frame before putting it up.
