5 Stars – Warm, Durable, and Perfect for Cold Weather!
The Dewalt Max Bare Hooded Heated Jacket (DCHJ067B) is an absolute game-changer for working in cold conditions. Made from durable polyester, the jacket is tough enough to handle job site wear and tear while still being comfortable and lightweight. The heating elements work exceptionally well, providing consistent warmth across the chest and back, and the adjustable heat settings allow me to customize the warmth depending on the weather. Paired with a Dewalt 20V battery, it offers long-lasting heat, keeping me comfortable for hours. I also love the hooded design, which provides extra protection against wind and cold, making it ideal for outdoor work, hiking, or just everyday use in chilly weather. The fit is unisex and true to size, with enough room for layering underneath if needed. Overall, this jacket is a fantastic investment for anyone who spends time outdoors in the winter. It’s durable, stylish, and most importantly, incredibly warm! Highly recommended for both work and casual use.

Absolutely incredible.
I’m 5'9" and 160 lbs, and while the large is a little baggy, I actually prefer the looser fit. A medium might have been a better choice for a more snug feel, but I wear a vest over it to help retain heat, and it works great. I’ve used this sweatshirt in negative temperatures, and it makes such a difference—especially on windy days when the cold air cuts through everything. The 2Ah battery lasts a good while, and the USB port for charging your phone is a nice bonus. The sweatshirt has 3 heat settings, and the high setting will definitely keep you toasty! Overall, it’s been a solid purchase for staying warm and comfortable in even the harshest conditions. I plan to use this snowmobiling in the backcountry and extra cold days in the resort.

This is NOT compatible with 12 volt batteries as stated in the description
I love the hoodie. It fits comfortably and appears to be made of durable materials with good stitching. When connected to a battery, the heat is pretty typical for heated gear and I think this will be a good solution for me. My only complaint is that this is NOT compatible with the DeWalt 12 volt battery as stated in the product description. I purchased this specifically because of that feature and am disappointed it is not as advertised. I contacted DeWalt and they put me in touch with Radians, the actual manufacturer. Their statement was, "The adapters are only for the 20V batteries, we do not offer one for the 12V". For me, this is only an inconvenience and not a deal breaker. I like the hoodie and will get some good use out of it. I just wish it was 12 volt as advertised.

A Great Jacket With Some Slim PowerStacks
I wear this a lot more often than you'd expect. Basically has become my main jacket and on nights where it is especially cold I'll sleep with it on and set to warming if I need to. The pockets are well positioned, the interior zippers are my favorite place. The material is durable. Washing it via unplumbing and replumbing the wire can be a chore. It keeps its dark color and has not lightened over time. The fit remains comfortable. You can probably wear it even if it isn't that cold and you aren't doing much but it is a great insulator so if you start physically moving about you will be sweating in no time.

Died in two months
Crapped out in two months verified with multiple batteries powers on, but does not get hot on any setting very disappointed because I’m now more than likely I’m gonna have to go out and buy another one even though it is within warranty because I can’t wait 2 to 5 weeks as a mobile technician in the middle of winter in New York

Dewalt Vs Milwaukee Who wins and differences
I started with the M12 line from Milwaukee even though I have been using Dewalt tools since their 18v and 24v days. I chose Milwaukee because at the time Dewalt did not offer much in terms of 12v tools. But now I have upgraded all my old 18 & 24v tools to Dewalt XR20v ones and thought I'd try their hoodie even though I already own 3 jackets from big M. What I like.. Huge zipped pocket for your phone. The Milwaukee jackets have small pockets that don't fit my phone so definitely appreciate this. 2 places to put your battery. I don't have any Dewalt 12v so I just use the Milwaukee sleeve and battery in my Dewalt hoodie. I like that you can place the battery in the back or in front. Sometimes when you are sitting in your car having the battery in the back is uncomfortable so having the option to relocate it is good. The bad Handwash? What's with that? Milwaukee says throw theirs in the washing machine and that's what I have done a million times. We will see how that goes, I have not yet needed to wash my Dewalt Hoodie. 20v, I don't think so. OK, several points here. First off, If you think you are going to slap a 20v battery on this and be comfortable you have some reality heading your way. First off, the Dewalt adapter is HUGE! not to mention that even if you have some DeWalt 1.5ah or 2ah slim batteries they are HUGE and once you combine that giant adapter and huge battery you end up with this monstrous thing that is not only bulky but heavy. Want to throw on a 5.0ah batt? Well, not unless you want to deform the hoodie with a huge sag where the battery goes. I will, however, admit that I use the Dewalt adapter and a 5ah batt with my heavy (Toughshell) Milwaukee jacket but that is only if I am going to be outside in brutal weather all day and the material of that jacket is so heavy that it doesn't deform under the battery's weight. The Dewalt hoodie has the button on the inside and the Milwaukee has it on the outside. Secondly, the Dewalt button seems to require less pressure to switch between its three temperatures. this has resulted in me setting it to high and then just through normal movement the button gets bumped and switches it to a lower temp. Personally I prefer having the button on the outside as it is easier to use as you do not have to unzip to adjust temp or turn it on or off. Heating OK, so I have to say there is no contest here the Milwaukee gets hotter and it gets hotter quicker. The middle temp on the Milwaukee is about what high is on the DeWalt. Material Both are lightweight, the DeWalt seems to be thicker and better material. Although Milwaukee says machine wash so... 20v vs 12v This is one of those marketing games that is nonsense. The jackets don't run at 20v they run at 12v but pitching it as a 20v product makes it sound better. Plus as I mentioned before even a slim 20v battery is huge. Size Milwaukee jackets run tight. If you layer go a size bigger. Milwaukee hoodies run just about right if you order an XL it will be what you expect. Dewalt hoodie runs tight, I'd order a size up. So what to buy? I'd get the Dewalt, however, I would not run it off a 20v battery. Order the 12v sleeve and battery or if you have M12 products as well order an M12 sleeve for the battery.

Love this
Jacket keeps you warm during those cold days. Found the jacket to be a little under size. 2amp doesn’t last never long on high, usually carry spares or lug a 6amp around but it greatly increases the weight let alone the business

Great sweater
Okay so im a 5’11 200lbs male and i typically buy my shirts and hoodies large this hoodie fits me perfectly fine as any other large hoodie i have its right to fitment. The sweater is on the thin side but i planned on using a jacket over this heated sweater to really adequately use the heated sweater and have the outer layered jacket as barrier from the cold wind. works perfectly as i thought kept me warm all day with the combo. (Long sleeve shirt, heated sweater, and coat/jacket over the sweater) i like that they use ONLY 20V batteries which is perfect since thats what you’ll see at job sites 99% of the time. The heated mechanism works well it gets quite hot i occasionally have to turn it off and get cooled off again before turning it on. There is two battery locations one in the lower left back which can be annoying if you drive a forklift or any machinery all day luckily they have a front low left pocket where you can have the battery as well. The battery life last me an 8 hours work day. Luckily i work for a contractor that has nothing but 20v dewalt tools that im able to have a battery at all times. You pay for what you get i would suggest this.

It was cold out there
Good item 2 weeks use so far seems to be fine, heats up nicely with 3 different modes led button goes from red to white when fully heated, and it’s a decent hoodie without the battery connected

Poor sellers or poor quality?
The hoodie feels one size too small for an XL, box it came in had already been opened before, packaging hoodie came in was pre torn, hoodie is missing drawstrings on the hood, came coated in small dog type hairs. Tags torn off by previous purchaser. The heating elements do work well though so there is a positive there. Battery connector is hidden in a lower hidden section of box which is hard to spot when it's the almost at the full depth of the box

Heated hoodie
The coat is awesome and heats up well. The only thing I don’t like is the battery pack rests on your kidney and is a little bulky. Dewalt should come out with a battery pack that is long and thin and raps around your back side that would make wearing this hoodie unbelievable. Overall besides the battery pack. Coat is A+ and warm. The shipping was amazing and received it before I expected it. Good job

Buyer beware
The battery required for this Dewalt heated hoddie is a DB 203 . There like hens teeth and quite expensive.

disappointed
ordered this jacket in good time for Christmas for my husband. thankfully he tested it to check it works all ok and was very disappointed to see that it didn't heat up. Clearly been sent a defective item. Such a shame as this has traveled a long way to reach us here in the UK.
