This works fine, doubled my RAM with this and ny laptop is a lot faster. I can still use this laptop and it is much faster, don't have to buy an new one just to be dissapointed in 6 months because of all of the bloat windoze puts on them from patching. Thats mainly because I won't use windoze, I run LINUX and have been happy ever since I switch at the W 8.1/W10 upgrades. Iwill never pover pay for n OS again! Why should anyone pay that much when you can get a better OS for free? Ifyou are new to LINUX try UBUNTU or Debian. I personally use Devaun. Read about GNU Software and you will see why I chose Devaun.

*** NOT A PAID REVIEW ***Bottom Line: Excellent RAMI wanted to add RAM to my NAS so after doing some research on a variety of forums as well as on Amazon, I decided to try the Hynix brand. I have no prior experience with them and am not a tech whiz by any means so I can’t give you the technical reasoning. I’m sure you can find them if you look hard enough. For me, I simply wanted to give my system additional help while trying not to degrade it in doing so. If you didn’t know, choosing the wrong type/brand of RAM is worse than not having enough. Anyhow, the order came within the two days as expected for prime members. I immediately inspected it to make sure it looked physically ok. I then proceeded to install it (fingers-crossed). At first it seemed as though the system took a little longer to recognize the RAM so I was worried it was the wrong type. Luckily, I decided to wait just long enough for the system to boot up. I logged in to verify the RAM was recognized and things seem to be on the up and up. I think i’m in the clear but sometimes it’s hard to say for sure… Definitely buy at your own risk but it seems to be working ok for me.Cons:- still testing it…Pros:- arrived quickly- decent price ($25) but you can find cheaper

Just what the doctor ordered

I was looking for another 4GB stick of Hynix RAM to compliment the one I already had to upgrade my daughter's old Lenovo Thinkpad Edge that came installed with a 2x2 GB configuration. It was experiencing slowdowns so I knew another 4GB stick was needed. A-Tech provided exactly what I needed. Now the laptop is in a 2x4 GB and the load time is somewhat faster but will be even more so when I replace her old hard drive with an SSD.I was also impressed by how this company carefully packaged and shipped the memory.
