Breast pads were getting soaked too quickly and my midwife suggested I got ‘nipple shells’. There are so many on Amazon and so many conflicting reviews with some people saying how great they are and others finding flaws. However I came across these Elvie ones (which I knew was a good brand) and noticed there were a lot of good reviews. I thought I’d give it a go.These literally arrived this morning and I’m already writing a review saying how great they are! They are a hard shell on the outside with a soft silicone inside that sits against the breast with a hole for the nipple. There isn’t any suction, they just sit in your bra and collect the milk. So as long as your bras is fitted, they slot in nicely and don’t move about. It’s also a great rest for my nipples as breast pads were getting soggy and also sore from rubbing. They are also a nice shape and you can’t tell you have them in your bra at all! 100% worth getting and I feel like a new woman already as not having soggy bras and tops.
