TaylorMade SIM Titanium Fairway

September update: had a summer with this thing and have yet to encounter an unreachable par 5. This thing is a dream come true. Truly an incredible club that I don't know how you could improve. Just buy it. I have nothing to gain and this is just honest reviewing, the thing is freaking incredible.Quite possibly the greatest 3W i have ever come across. Off a tee or off the turf, the thing launches like a freaking rocket. This seems like the right amount of improvements that will make me want to keep this in my bag for years and years to come.Easy to shot shape. good flight apex. solid carry distances, around 15 yards increase compared to my previous 3W. Like I said, best 3 wood I have ever hit. Thank you Taylormade, great product.

My husband likes this titanium fairway and here is what he had to say about it.This is a very nice 3-wood. I'll state up-front, I haven't hit it yet between the weather and the Corona virus threat. As soon as I can get out to the range and hit it some, I'll update this review. I'm definitely looking forward to it.Here are some of my observations. The head is Titanium and the face is supposed to correct bad swings and keep the ball straight. I've hit drivers that used that same technology and found that a few actually kept my drives straighter. It gave up a little in distance, but it worked. I'm interested to see if this club works the same way. One feature that I'm intrigued by is the ability to adjust the loft by adjusting the club shaft. The hosel has graduated marks and and three labels - "Std Loft", "Lower", and "Higher".The grips are made by Golf Pride and feel good - not too tacky, but good.Look for an update soon.

The construction of this club is super solid. The quality is superb, and I’m really proud of this new addition to my bag! It is a club engineered for you to get the most out of your game, and to be versatile on the course, and I think it lives up to that! The combination of titanium, carbon, and steel make a beautiful design that is specifically set up in such a way to enhance your playability… so it’s not just a pretty face!I haven’t had the opportunity to play around with the loft adjustments, since I’m just trying to get the overall feel of the club for play first. But it does seem to strike smooth and has helped, at least a little, on straightening out my hit… although maybe I was getting better already? Lol… I’d probably have to give credit to the club for that! The cover is of nice quality and construction as well. A very nice new addition for my bag!

This thing hits Bombs. Coming from a callaway double black diamond 3 wood. Amazing sound and feel too. I mean it. My first ever TM club. I'm a callaway guy but this hits bombs!

The fairway wood is great but disappointed that it didn’t came with head cover. Every brand new driver and fairway wood I have purchased in the past all came with head cover. Other than that, the club is great.

Ordered a regular stiff shaft and after not hitting the ball well discovered that it was a tour stiff shaft. This is a really stiff shaft for players with very fast swing speeds. Check the club carefully when you unpack it! The club was marked "R" for regular but definitely was not.
