Well worth the money
1/4 inch aluminum angle jack plate and the bolts supplied are heavy duty. You'll need mounting bolts. I used half inch diameter grade 8 bolts, 3 inches long. Went on easy and solid. Would definitely buy again

Almost identical to one I bought from a known fabricator from the USA
Very nice for the money. Have one from a well known USA manufacturer that costs much more but this one seems just as good. Certain bolts on the item arrived very poorly tightened. Go over each and every bolt and torque down until the unit is solid. Should last with the small 40hp motor I am using it for.

Put this on my Carolina Skiff when I got a long shaft motor. Shipped quick and build quality was above what I expected. Very pleased.

Do NOT buy these cheap brackets!
If you value your boat and safety, don’t buy these. Customer service was pretty decent with communication but that’s all they have going for them. I ordered 2 of these. They only delivered 1. Had to wait another week to get the second one. I installed them Mid May on my boat. Used the boat once to run around the bay with the kids. Noticed they had gotten loose so I tightened them again. Not a big deal. Second trip was in the gulf. Pretty calm day. Returned and noticed one had cracked and the other was bent. If I would have got stuck in rough seas, I’m confident the motors would have fallen off. Don’t buy these. I contacted the company 5 weeks after purchase and they offered me a $50 credit. Spend your money on good brackets fr CMC or a reputable brand

Incorrect fasteners
The Nylock nuts were not the correct thread size on the top two outside fasteners. I believe they used a metric thread nut with a standard thread bolt or vice - versa. Recommend buyer double check the configuration before tightening. I had to cut the top two bolts off, I couldn't tighten them or take them off. Not even with an impact driver. The company was good enough to discount my purchase in order to buy new stainless-steel hardware. It took me several hrs and two hack saw blades later, but I got the bolts off. Over-all it's a good product, but double check the nuts and bolts.
