The backpack was decent construction and the 12,000 mAh batter was a nice addition, however that is about as far as much as I can say was positive about the backpack.The solar panel would not charge the battery. We called and emailed the company several times to get a resolution and never got a response. Ended up returning it.If you are serious about a Solar backpack, take a look at the Voltaic Systems line up. We ended up with the Voltaic 1010 OffGrid and have had much more success.

I plan to travel with my tablet, both in the states and overseas. I was a bit apprehensive about the price of this backpack and wondered if the solar panel was really going to work. But after having used it, I can report that this is a great find. In fairness, the solar panel isn't big enough to charge a 10 inch tablet from empty to full in a single day, but it does charge cell phones and digital cameras with ease. There is plenty of room for a 10 inch tablet with accessories and room for a change of clothes and a towel. Great for traveling and outdoor adventures. I would buy again, in fact, the wife now wants one.

Bought this as a gift for my wife for Christmas. Could not find as much info on it as it should have had. It would not charge a laptop, which was the deal breaker. Could have done her Nook and phone but being that it could not do all the devices it was not going to work. Her 17" work laptop would not fit in the backpack. Not pleased at all with the product so returned it.

Why does it say in "features and details" the backpack has a 5 watt solar panel, but upon viewing the 7 scrollable pics, one of them showed that the backpack REALLY only has a 3.6 watt solar panel? I will not purchase this product until this misinformation/typo is resolved.
