Review: Life saver!! - I ordered this product because my cat had got nutered and he recoverd fine but got sick and I mean really sick 7 days after. They gave him a feline distemper vaccine after me telling them not to. So needless to say he had a bad reaction and stopped eating and drinking and I had to Force food n water for 5 days. He got better and then got diahreah so bad it was like water n blood and blowing gas so bad. Sence my vet is crappy I said I'm not taking him back there and I ordered this and tonic *4 and I gave him his 1st dose if this yesterday evening and needless to say he has no more diahreah. Thank u desertcart for having this stuff it saved me alot money. The vet wouldn't admit it was their fault so I had no choice to try this. I'm so glad I did. Guys you can't go wrong with this stuff it saved my cats life! He don't like the flavor tho,so I just wipe it in the roof if his mouth and it gos down. If ya have a oet with diahreah give this a shot you will b amazed. Review: RABBITS LOVE IT, easy on their belly - I have 2 lion lop buns about 6 yrs old. They both have 'the snuffles' on and off which I treat w/antibiotics from the vet. Antibiotics can be rough on gut flora so I use BeneBac right after I dose the buns w/Baytril. They seem to like the taste and take it right off my finger. NOTE: I used to feed the rabbits a dose right from the tube. One of them very quickly chewed off the small dispensing nozzle on the tube & ate it. Which of course sent me into a panic. He was fine, but I would def. put the medicine on your finger, treat, whatever. I would also like to add my one bun has digestive issues and per the vet is on an ALL HAY DIET for many years now. Other foods, such as pellets, veggies etc... would give him 'poopy butt', Bene-Bac is easy on his stomach and there have been no poopy side effects in the many times I have dosed him.

Great for my guinea pigs after antibiotics!
Recently, my guinea pigs had to go on antibiotics and I noticed that their poos were getting a little icky as a result, so their stomachs must have been upset. I found the Bene-bac brand from a YouTube video by skinnypigs1, where she mentioned that giving piggies probiotics after a round of antibiotics is good for them. Mine are happy and healthy and back to normal! TIP: there must be a tiny bit of a taste because my one picky piggy was a little tricky at first with this. But mix it in with their favorite vegetables and you can trick them! I find that the best ones to mix this with are romaine lettuce (I’ll put a little gel in the inside crunchy part of the leaf) and a cherry tomato cut in half (just dispense some gel into the juicy part of the tomato).

Good Product - A little hard to mix with Kitty Formula
We rescued a days-old abandoned kitten, and on advice from our vet, we bought this probiotic gel to supplement with our little furball's Kitten Milk Replacer formula (we use PetAg KMR powdered formula). It seems to have helped with his tummy - he had some constipation, but adding the Bene-Bac Probiotic gel (per instructions) to his mixed formula - his tummy has settled and his stools now formed but soft, with no straining. The product can be given directly to the pet via their mouth, but our rescue kitten wasn't keen on that idea at all. So we added it to his formula bottles. My only "con" about this product is that being a gel, it doesn't mix very easily into our kitty's milk. It is thick, and the bottle has to be vigorously shaken .... initially and throughout a feeding, to keep it mixed & stop it from causing a clog in the kitten feeding teat. Other than that, we have seen benefits to our bottle fed newbie kitten's health, and he takes it mixed in his milk (well shaken) - without any hesitation. Overall, a good product, vet recommended, and has helped improve our rescue kitten's gut health.

Bunny loves this stuff.
I have a very senior bun whom I give this to weekly. She loves it. Maybe too much. She keeps trying to bite the tip off so I have to open it and spoon it out for her. It does seem to work well. Her poos are perfect looking since I started using it. She also gets a daily enzyme from Sherwood Forest along with their food. She is 12 plus so it all seems to be working well. I hope she keeps going strong for years to come.

A miracle for my guinea pig!
It's a long story, but basically I have a very high-maintenance guinea pig who has had to be on antibiotics on many occasions throughout his life. The first time I tried this probiotic gel in his diet, he was like a baby pig again! I didn't realize how low-energy and lethargic he had become, but it must be that the antibiotics had really done a number on his gut bacteria, because when I gave him this gel, he was back to popcorning, climbing, running circles, and even socializing more. His energy increased markedly. I have been giving it to him on the maintenance schedule (once per week) for about three months now, and I have not observed any adverse effects. I administer it to him by squeezing the gel into the crevices of lettuce leaves, and then he cannot detect it and will eat it. I definitely recommend this for your guinea pig's health.

Great stuff, for Adults too, but bad in this tube
Purchased because I am bottle feeding 4 kittens that never had the benefit of mother's milk. (Not by choice unfortunate circumstances, babies were saved though) It's difficult to portion out as suggested and is too thick to be "sucked up" into a syringe small enough for teeny kitten mouths. I did read it is also good for adult animals as well. I have an adult cat around 7 years old who has inflammatory bowl disease. He's on steroids to help with this. I began adding this to his diet as well (about twice a week at the recommended dosage) and he's does even better with the Bene-bac added to his steroids and special food diet. I purchased some in a pre-filled syringe, and that was much easier to give to my adult cat, but still difficult for me to give to my teeny kittens. I am going to be purchasing the one pound jar in hopes that is easier, that option seems to be cheaper in bulk as well.
