How to Be a Wildflower: A Field Guide (Nature Journals, Wildflower Books, Motivational Books, Creativity Books) (Katie Daisy)

This lovely little book brings a smile to my face with every page I turn. It is a great insprieation for watercolor work. It makes one think of the gems in life. Just a great overall book. Get one. And, on top of that, it arrived very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and in a padded envelope. Unlike most deliveries from Amazon these days. I have been so aggravated wtih the lack of care taken with book shipments from Amazon, that this delivery was so nice to receive with respect to the book. Thank you.

I bought this deck (I had been debating on in it in my wishlist for a while) when I saw the quote from Claude Monet on one of the cards, since a card from one of my oracle decks I pulled one day was accompanied by a quote from Claude Monet. I am so glad I made the decision to get this deck because the moment I opened it, I felt a feeling of contentment different from when I buy other decks. Reading the letter card and flipping through the cards, there's just this sense of being happy. This deck just somehow calls to my inner child. It really fit with the name of this deck: How to Be a Wildflower. That's just my personal experience, it may be different for others.Now onto the physical elements of the deck. The card stock is very nice, not too thick or not too thin in my opinion. Also there's that nice new card smell haha. The structure of the box sort of reminds me a drawer that you open looking for wonders. The colors and images on the cards are all very vibrant and unique. Even if a person bought this deck on a whim, I'm sure they would not regret it. Also considering the price of the amount of cards for an oracle deck, definitely worth it.

These cards are beautiful!

Kind of lightweight on content, but the art is VERY nice.

I think the artwork and quotations were beautiful--but I think the title is a bit deceptive.I was looking for an actual 'field guide'--a whimsical one, yes, but a list of ideas for me to follow through on. That does exist within the book, but it is mostly made of quotes and feel-good sayings.However, it is so beautiful and makes me so happy that it hardly detracts from the product. Probably my fault for thinking it was something different than what it is!

This is not a book to read...don’t buy it for that reason, please!This is a book to savor— to help you savor life—your life, the lives of birds, flowers, butterflies, and childhood wanderings and wonderings. If you are stuck in a city, it gets you out to the meadows and woodlands. It gets you to the shore, or under the country side’s stars. It lifts your spirits and takes you home to yourself, especially if you’ve forgotten just where that is. And, if you are “stuck” in a city, it’ll inspire you to find ways to bring the gentle wonders of nature back into your life.I felt stuck inside with the weather and the “isolate yourself” mindset of the times. I picked up this book and through it, revisited some of my most awesome times in the woods, meadows and seashore. Thank you Katie Daisy. 💕

Oracolo davvero carino, carte di buona qualità, perfetto per estrarre la carta del giorno perché ogni carta sul retro ha una frase, quindi può essere usato anche un’affirmation card. Le illustrazioni sono davvero belle
