This is by far my favorite dental floss. It doesn’t fray or irritate my gums. It is sturdy but thin enough to get into tight spaces. Works great and it’s all I use now.

I have very cavity-prone teeth and must maintain very high standards of dental hygiene to prevent decay. I have always flossed morning and night with the floss that sounds like "Beach," but my hygienist recently recommended this brand. At first, I was put off by the price. I decided to try it anyway, and I am SO GLAD I did! This stuff is like a Turkish towel for your teeth and gums! So fluffy, soft, and most importantly, feels like it's actually cleaning your teeth! I feel like I accomplish so much more using this than the other popular brands. The cardamom flavor is really nice and I love the plastic-free packaging. I will be a repeat customer!

Is it kind of like putting a rope between your teeth? Sure. Does it to do a great job of cleaning between teeth? Absolutely! I am now a believer.

I was trying to find a woven floss after discovering Johnson and Johnson gentle gum care floss was discontinued. I think I may actually end up liking this brand better. I've used it once so far and wanted to review first impressions. I have a bridge, and crooked teeth and did not have issues with shredding. Albeit this is not usually an issue I generally ever have, except for between two particular teeth. It didn't hurt my fingers, it didn't hurt any of my gums, and it was thick enough for me to feel like my bridge was being cleaned. I feel like I needed less floss to clean my entire mouth. I usually need two things of floss, 1 for top, 1 for bottom. The paper dispenser is kinda weird, and at first I thought it was broken because the floss wasn't pulling out, but it's ok. One thing is that the smell is really bad. I have no idea what cardamom flavor is, but it does not smell good. It smells like some sort of forest scent. The scent didn't really affect flavor, though. To me it was flavorless. Overall I would recommend this because my gums don't feel sore after flossing (even after flossing regularly), but if there are other flavors available I would recommend trying those instead.Edit: 4.22.23 - After using this for 2.5 months, I like the floss overall. I feel like it cleans my teeth really well and much better than GUM/Kroger waxed or Oral B Glide comfort plus floss. This floss really does pick up plaque or food bits that are stuck in between my teeth and i feel like some other flosses just aren't capable of atually getting all/any of the gunk out (looking at you Oral B Glide comfort plus floss). Other flosses have irritated and made the gums of my bridge bleed, Dr. Tung's doesn't do that & feels comfortable to use in that area. :) I've gotten used to the cardamom smell and it doesn't really bother me anymore, i barely notice it. i guess it was just a very new scent to me that I never experienced before but I'm used to it now. I just wish they had other flavors/scents like cinnamon. They have lemongrass, but that does not seem appealing scent wise.

I'm not exactly sure why this dental floss is SO much better than the brands I can buy in the store, but it is! It's smooth, and glides effortlessly. Although it's a bit on the pricey side, I won't go back! I would highly recommend!

The only floss I ever loved before finding this one was Superfloss by Oral B because it was so good at picking out both small and large debris as well as felt really nice on my sensitive gums. Since they stopped making Superfloss I have been not so great about flossing everyday because waxed floss does not work nearly as well, that thick floss they sell for dental braces is way to huge for my tooth gaps, and unwaxed feels too rough on my gums.I finally did a massive google search on this and finally saw someone (just like me now) who was looking for a true Superfloss alternative and found Dr Tungs Smart Floss.I was hesitant to buy it at first because it’s harder to find (my CVS doesn’t sell it) and I thought maybe it was more expensive than it should be. In the end tho the amount of rolls and total yardage of the floss is very economical. The function of the floss is amazing! Cleans out your teeth so much better than the other flosses (the strands puff up like soft cloths in between each tooth grabbing debris but the then pull out of even my smallest tooth gaps very comfortably).Writing this review because I know there are people like me looking for a Superfloss replacement or people who are just looking for floss that works great but doesn’t agitate their gums. Try it out, so curious to see what more people think!
