Woodstock The Original Guaranteed Musically Tuned Chime Table Gong, Cherry Finish

Very pleased with this small gong. The sound is bigger and more satisfying than I expected from something this size. It’s made well and was very easy to assemble the stand. I bought it for my son, a 2020 senior who is missing out on many graduation traditions because of pandemic shut down. His school has a tradition for seniors to hit a large gong and announce what their college they’ve decided to attend or other post graduation plans. He was disappointed to not be able to do that so I surprised him with this. He loves it and was able to make his announcement during a video class. Other students have asked him to bang the gong for their announcements, as well! A bit of fun during a tough time. :)

Very nice, perfect size for tabletop. It’s on one of my end tables. Q&A says it is not specifically tuned but it’s very close to a D pitch, with other overtones when struck. Makes a nice sound.

One of the legs is longer than the other and the frame is both crooked and not square. The adjustable legs would have to be raised nearly half an inch to make part of it level (still not square) - and that’s after trying every combination of leg mounting/orientation. It looks silly. I’d return it but by the the time I’d get another back it would be useless. I’d expect this from one of the $15 gongs on Amazon but not from one that costs 4x more.

It looks nice but the sound has a tin can sound. I was expecting more.
