This wire crimper kit is great for the price. There are a ton of different connector sizes and types included, so it's nice having so many options on hand instead of having to buy a bunch of different packs separately. It's been really useful for some of my home projects. I used it when I rewired the radio and auto antenna on my Datsun 280ZX, and the butt connectors have held up well so far. For someone doing basic automotive work, repairs, or other projects around the house, this is a pretty convenient kit to have around.

For the value, the money it was worth it. The tool is great. The fasteners could be a little better. You can tell they’re not great quality.

These work fine, my only comment (not complaint) is that they do not have a cover boot and the plastic insulators are basically pointless.

Kit was as described

Was doing a big job where we needed to try better methods for wire connectors than what we had. These worked out good, did find better ones that work better. If you’re on a budget these will Work. Just that you get a lot of small ones so the bigger ones that you need for a job just feels like a waste. If you’re on a budget and you don’t have a very big job I recommend this product.

This product is essential for both the professional auto-electrician and the DIY. It gives good value for the money.

Orders these to use on 12v wiring. Exactly as advertised and the variety gives you multiple choice for wire gage. These will last a long time but I will order more if needed. Good product and good delivery and price.

If you are looking to do some light electrical work on a car or around the house, this kit covers the basics well. Having 300 connectors sorted by type and size saves a lot of trips to the hardware store when you realize you are missing just one specific ring terminal. The crimping tool itself feels substantial in the hand. Often with these combo kits, the included pliers are flimsy stamped metal, but this one has comfortable grips and a smooth action. The wire stripper function is sharp enough to pull insulation off cleanly without nicking the copper strands underneath, provided you match the gauge correctly. Cutting wires is effortless, and the crimping jaws apply enough pressure to secure the connectors tightly. Organization is another plus. The plastic divider box keeps the 16 different types of spades and rings separated, which is crucial because these small parts tend to mix easily. While professional electricians might prefer a ratcheting crimper for heavy daily use, for general repairs and hobbyist wiring, this set performs perfectly. The insulation on the connectors crimps down without cracking, offering a secure hold.

This crimper works very well. I just added a wireless remote to my ATV winch and used these spade connectors. Before I got the tool I had another receiver attached to the winch solenoid and I had just used pliers to crimp the connection, but one of the wires ended up pulling out. I ended up putting it in a vise to get it tight. With that though, there was the chance of damaging the wire itself. These crimpers get the connection every bit as tight as the vise did, but without any possibility of damaging the wire.
