Freedom! Lets me travel alone
I need a mobility aid that stabilizes me on uneven ground and keeps some pressure off my joints. Despite my disability I love to be outdoors and to walk and hike as much as I can, so that means walkers with tiny wheels are off the table. I have an Alinker walking bike, but it's too bulky and heavy for me to manage alone, and sometimes a girl just needs to get away by herself! This walker is stable enough for my needs, and it folds very small and is light enough that I can put it in the car myself. I recently went on a solo trip, and my walker traveled very nicely through the airport and allowed me to do some light hiking, while not taking up much space in the rental car. I love the seat! I can stop and take a rest whenever I need to, which is so reassuring. I also love the upright posture - it makes me feel more confident and engaged in my surroundings. For plane travel - You can take the walker right up to the plane! Just talk to the gate attendant and get it tagged for gate check, like a stroller. I can fit a full-size suitcase on the seat, so I wear my backpack as my carry-on and push the suitcase to the luggage drop. Then I set my backpack on the seat and push that around until boarding, so I'm only carrying the weight of my backpack for short stints.Only con is that due to its light weight it doesn't handle "off-road" terrain as safely as the Alinker. It's top heavy when you lean on it, and if you hit a rut or divot going too quickly it would be easy to pitch forward. I've learned to go slowly and avoid grassy areas when possible.A few tips:- Add a bicycle cup holder! I got one that also holds my phone and it's very convenient- I also added a couple stroller hooks so I can hang my coat or a shopping bag- The bolts that hold the wheels on tend to loosen if you're taking this over rough terrain. I got some spare bolts and some wingnuts at a hardware store and carry them with me just in case- Add a luggage tag with your name and contact info

Stellar product for long-term needs
Easy to assemble. I bought it for an upcoming spinal surgery. The hospital staff loved it. The only complaint we all had is that it doesn't have a lock/latch to keep it folded. I used a pair of black scrunchies, one at the handles up at the breaks & the other at the sitting handles. That seemed to work well enough.Unfortunately, 48 hrs after surgery, I realized that this device is much more than I need & have initiated a return.Great device, just not for my particular recovery needs.

Not for use by one with lifting restrictions!
This is a wonderful walker in that it allows you to walk upright instead of bending over as with a regular walker. The main problem is portability. It is difficult to fold, heavy to lift and does not fit well in the back of an SUV. Not easy for a frail, but independent female who can lift about 20lbs.

This upright walker does help keep my spine straight and makes walking much easier for me.
I just love this upright walker. The color is perfect. I ordered this walker because I walk bent over and my doctor told me I need one that is upright to help keep my spine straight because of the bulging disc I have on my spine that makes me walk bent over. This walker helps me to walk in a upright position which is better for my back. I am very happy with my purchase from Amazon that's why I shop with them you can never go wrong and you can always find what your looking for in the price rang you want.

Walker is great
I needed something to help me get around without putting weight on my legs. I woke up one morning and my left leg was hurting because of arthritis, I could barely move and I needed to go to the bathroom, when I finally made it there later I thought that when this happens again I need help. This is the best thing for me, I needed it to be light weight and it is very lite, I'm 75 and have arthritis in my shoulder, this is very easy to assemble, no tools needed. I'm ordering this for my sister who is also in need of assistance.

Great product!!
My father in law recently fell and broke his hip. He was using one of those tri fold metal walkers with wheels only on the front and having to bend over like a hunch back, lift it and drag the bag legs. With this walker he is standing upright, with the arm rests he's able to support his body more, has the mobility to move around without having to drag the back legs. it's quiet as a mouse, don't even here him coming half the time.My husband had it put together in about 15 minutes. The only thing that might be an issue in an older home is narrow door ways. It's not overly wide but definitely wider than the tri fold walker. Have to make sure the door is pushed open all the way.My father in law is very very happy with his early Christmas present.

Don’t bother
This company doesn’t exist. Phone number on instructions goes to another company. Website and email don’t exist. While they say lifetime support, they wanted to charge $30 per arm rest that rippedAfter 3 months. Amazon refunded us full amount because they couldn’t reach them. If you need for long term, buy Up Walker. This cheap thing falls apart and no service.

Upright walker is great for posture
I just bought the upright walker for my husband and he loves it. He no longer has to slump over when walking like he did with the more traditional walker. He is now able to stand upright when using this walker. His mobility is much better and he actually can get around more quickly. Very sturdy product. My grandson put it together with no problem. I highly recommend.
