Puppy loves it
Update: I just bought another of these for my puppy who is now 10 months old. Will continue to purchase as needed in the future as it is one of his most favorite toys to play with. He's very destructive with his toys and I am happy that I can get at least a full 2 months of heavy play before he has a hole chewed in it. My 8 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi loves this ball. He plays with it with us (fetch) and by himself throwing it in the air and chasing after it, probably at least 2 or 3 hours a day. I originally purchased the first one from a local pet store and this is the second which I purchased via Amazon. Since he doesn't sit and chew or shred it, it seems to be holding up well with the amount of time he plays with it. It's lightweight and has mop-like texture that is easier for a puppy to grab onto. If you have a puppy or dog that likes to chew and shred things, this ball will tear up very quickly. But if you have a puppy/dog who enjoys playing fetch and throwing things around with minimal chewing this ball will last a couple of months or so. To me worth the price.

One "Squishy" To Rule Them All...
We have a 3-year-old Pembroke Corgi that I've dubbed the Terminator of Playtime, simply for the fact that he never wants to stop playing...ever, which is both highly amusing and tortuous at the same time. "Listen. Understand. That Terminator is out there! It can't be reasoned with. It can't be bargained with. It doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you are dead." We've trained him to retrieve toys by names, which in this case turned out to be "the Squishy"--though "Chucky" likely would've been more fitting for several reasons. This toy, out of the many, is his most favorite, to the point where I have to hide it for the sake of my sanity; otherwise, my life starts to eerily resemble scenes from a horror film, where every corner I turn, there he is with the Squishy/Chucky. Walk into a pitch-dark room, flip on the switch, boo...Squishy. Glance in his genereal direction...Squishy. Doing yoga...Squishy gets dropped on my head or at my feet when standing. Wake up or breathing...Squishy. Ignore him and he'll eventually put Squishy on your shoulder, just in case you happen to actually be daft or blind and didn't see him nudging it persistently in your general direction or him waiting impatiently. He's benevolent that way. At night, both my partner and I literally freeze whenever he goes digging in his toy box, silently hoping he doesn't grab the Round Ball of Doom, but he usually does because he's a sadist. Luckily, it's usually Man Unit's designated duty at night to entertain, often being dubbed as the Chosen One by our stubby, four-legged overlord himself. Praise be! Go, me! This is my life. So be it. So, yeah...it's decidedly squishy, won't break my invaluable valuables, and dogs love it. A happy dog is a happy owner--short of the stalker aspect, at least . While it's great for indoors, they unfortunately do not last long before things start to unravel--and not just meaning my sanity. The little string things definitely encourage compulsive and homicidal tendencies when it comes toys, and they may pull out strings to eat... or maybe floss with. I recommend not leaving Rover or Rovina alone with it unattended--especially if he/she is prone to destruction and leaving massacred plushy carcasses and crime scenes about regularly. Having a backup may also be helpful as well as a stealthy hiding place--you know, just in case.

Great for our pup!
These are the perfect size for our 20 lb pup. She loves to play with them and then promptly chew the fuzz off. They are sturdier than regular tennis balls and don’t smell nearly as much. They stand up to chewing as far as the balm itself goes but the fuzz does come off pretty easily. Overall would buy again!

Great Toy with some caveats
I gave this as a gift to my friend who has a smaller dog and is a bit less destructive when it comes to plush/soft toys. His dog absolutely loves it and has a lot of fun chasing after it and chewing (nicely) on it. He is a smaller dog so the ball is a bit too large for him to get his whole mouth around it. However, he loved picking it up by the tag and dragging it along everywhere. I thought my dog would enjoy it too since he is on the smaller size, but I could tell he was going to chew right through it or rip it up (pieces did come off in our short time). However, I know my dog is going to find a way to destroy certain toys no matter what and this Chuck it held up pretty nicely while he had the time to play with it. The good thing and probably most important thing is that both dogs absolutely love it and it was a great size and has pretty good durability.

Koji loves these things!
My boy has loved these since he was 8 weeks old. He has 100 plus stuffies and balls and ropes and every other type of dog toy known to man and dog. He always goes back to these and eventually will destroy them by chewing and ripping them apart. I've bought at least 25 of these during his 8 years with us. They aren't indestructible. They don't squeak. You really can't throw them very far. And they just don't last a super long time. My Koji usually takes a few months to go through one but he also has a few that are 3 and 4 years old. Whatever it is about these balls , he's fallen in love with them and he will always have at least a couple of them at his disposal forever.

My boy loves this thing but the quality is pretty bad
My dog would rate this ball 5/5 stars for sure. I would rate it lower so...3 it is. If your dog likes to chew, you will need to supervise them with this or just get something else because it DOES fall apart very easily. But my dog is pretty good about not swallowing stuff, so I just watch him closely and pick up all the strings as he pulls them out (sometimes they get stuck in his teeth too and I have to pull them out which can be a bit challenging). The real fun for him is the foam ball itself. Once he annihilates the other stringy stuff (which takes maybe 30 min at best) he LOVES playing with the foam ball. Seriously this is his favorite toy once he gets the cover off. It's great for playing indoor fetch because it's very lightweight so I don't have to worry about the ball breaking something or making a mess or anything. So, idk, it does not hold up well at all but my dog DOES truly love this thing with all his heart so I figure it deserves at least a few stars. Just be really careful if your dog is a chewer!

Most loved toy
There is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing that my dog loves more than this ball. It’s big but soft, easy for my medium sized 20 pound dog to run after and spike up in the air with the tip of his snout. I purchased him many other toys, but he just doesn’t love anything as much as this fuzzy ball.

DECLINE IN QUALITY SKYROCKETING PRICE sadly it was a favorite
This was my dog's FIRST and FAVORITE toy. Ironically (and thankfully) the first ball in a series of these balls lasted for over a year & was very durable during her destructive period in life. **I had read a few negative comments but I thought they were a one off defective toy because the one I had a ball that is lasting and she is a chewer. 11/11/18 $3.40 It was such a precious toy that I got her the football Chuckit Fumbler on 9/23/19 @ $2.91 & she loves going out for a pass. This was also a good product & no defects on the one that I purchased on Sept 2019. Because she loved her softball I decided to get an extra one in the off chance I wouldn't be able to replace it later. 12/16/19 @ $4.29 I decided to give it to her a few months later when her old softball was getting a little frayed & dirty (chewer) & I trashed the old ball. The new one immediately started coming apart at the seams, the styrofoam under covering was being torn out in chunks & dangerous for her if not deadly. IT WAS DEFECTIVE. The covering was not glued well & the stitching defective. I was kicking myself for tossing the original ball --- a little frayed/dirty or not!!! I finally bought another one because she loves that darn ball so much on 5/8/2020 @ $3.51. Within 1 week this ball was also coming apart at the seams. IT WAS DEFECTIVE. Same problem reported by others. I was able to catch it before she saw the foam & I got out my sewing kit with heavy duty cording thread & sewed the seams back together. Hopefully, the thick cord/thread will hold the seams together. So, the 1st of the 3 Softballs was of good quality while 2 were not sewn well, nor glued well to the styrofoam & the stitching came apart between 1 week and a month leaving the naked styrofoam for dogs to see & chew. I noticed the thread was of a very poor quality when I was unravelling it from around my dog's tooth. Both eating styrofoam & thread around tooth/gums are potential harm to a dog. This product should only be used with supervision. I will not reorder this ball no matter how much she loves it. The quality of workmanship has declined drastically since my original purchase on 11/11/18, And yet, within the last 2 months the ball has skyrocketed in price. My last purchase was May 8, 2020 @ $3.51 and today on June 18, 2020 the price is $9.95 almost triple. Seriously? I'm glad I decided to sew her final ball back together rather than send it back.

Great product!
I recently purchased the Chuckit! Indoor Ball Dog Toy, and it has quickly become my dog’s favorite toy! As a pet owner, I am always on the lookout for safe and engaging toys, and this one ticks all the boxes. Design and Durability: The ball’s bright orange and blue colors make it highly visible, which is perfect for indoor play. The soft, chenille fabric is gentle on my dog’s teeth and gums, yet surprisingly durable. Even after hours of playing with it, it shows no signs of wear and tear. Performance: What truly sets this toy apart is its lightweight and bouncy design. It’s ideal for indoor fetch games, as it doesn’t cause any damage to furniture or walls. The way it bounces unpredictably keeps my dog engaged and excited. Plus, the size is perfect for my golden retriever dog to carry around. Engagement: The ball’s texture adds an extra layer of fun for my dog, who loves chewing and tugging on it. It’s also easy for her to grip and toss around. Overall Experience: I appreciate that it’s an Amazon’s Choice product, attesting to its quality and popularity. The purchase was smooth, and delivery was next day, adding to the overall positive experience. Seeing my dog so happy and active makes this a worthwhile investment. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Chuckit! Indoor Ball Dog Toy to any dog!

Dog loves it
Dog loves it! Fairly large, which means the dog struggles to pick it up (medium sized) and instead enjoys playing ‘football’. Would buy again.
