Low quality.
Low quality. I thought I was saving a little money but realized that the quality of this item is not up to par for me. It works but I wish that I would’ve spent a little more money.

Nice t-bevel
Reminds me of an old school sliding t-bevel. Nice brass nut securely holds the blade in place. Markings are clear and seem to be accurate. Very pleased which this purchase. Will be using to build wood products.

Great Value
For the price, this tool is fine. Don't expect a beautifully crafted legacy piece that you'll pass down to your grandchild. It's cheaply made. It will, however, do what you need it to do: find angles and allow you to transfer those angles to your workpiece.

Works exactly as advertised
Do tricky angles on railings.

Arrived in pieces
Sadly, just what some of the other reviewers had said, mine came in with the end brass pieces falling off. The brass end plates, which are only pleasing to the eye and have nothing to do with the accuracy of the tool had fallen off the tool and were in the bag. Nice looking tool, and from what I can tell it was machined correctly, just horrible cheap glue was used to keep the end plates in place. Maybe use small brass rivets perhaps the next time... I contacted Amazon and explained and they gave me a full refund. I wouldn't buy another one from this company. Tom

Dicey workmanship. High price.
One of the glued-on brass butt pieces was loose in the wrapper when I received this sliding T-bevel, the overall packaging was very good so it was likely shipped that way. Overall craftsmanship is fair. Finish and routering are a bit rough and splintery. What does the "360 deg." description mean in the listing? Ya got me! I assumed it meant the steel bevel could be passed thru the handle 360. It does not. The brass butt piece that remains will be removed, as it sticks out a bit from the wood an has sharp corners as well as interfering with accurate measuring. Likes! I like the stainless steel bevel!! Graduated on one side in inches in 1/8 and cm/ mm and the other side with inches in 1/32 and cm / mm. The brass screw and knurled nut work smoothly and easily in tandem with the brass plates on the business end that seem just fine also. Not worth sending back, but many better choices at or below this price. Johnson, Irwin etc. If you like the brass/wood style, Swanson has one here on Amazon for a little less that looks better.

Poorly made, dangerous
The redwood is the stain and it was so poorly put on that it didn’t cover the wood (pine) and it was on the metal. The metal edges of the handle hadn’t been filed so they could cut you and every single detail of this item was made with a lack of care at best and a disdain for the customer at worst. Returned within seconds of opening.
