Okay, so after reading reviews on many heated blankets I found this one. The reviews were somewhat mixed but I took a chance and ordered one. I am very happy I did! I am on a targeted chemo that causes really severe bone pain and swelling, especially in my legs,feet,hips, and ankles. When this happens I get so cold that it feels like I'm in an ice bath! My skin is cold to the touch and my bones ache so bad I can't even walk, stand, or even sit up at times. The only thing I had to help was a very small older heating pad which was only big enough to cover my feet or knees. So I decided to finally get a heated blanket after 8 years of struggling with all that. Take it from me this blanket is well worth the price! It has 3 heat settings like any heating pad and it heats evenly as well. It's very light weight, very soft, and just right to use in a recliner, chaise, or on the couch. I also layer it under another Sherpa blanket because it is so light weight. I've only had this blanket and a couple months and have used it almost everyday. At this point I'm not sure how I got by without one! I haven't washed it yet but I do shake it out after use due to the cat hair. The cord Is about 10 foot long or so just in case anyone was wondering. I also have 6 cats that absolutely love this blanket too! If I get up I have to scoot the kitties over to get back under my blanket! LOL! If you own a pet they will be firm competition for this soft, fluffy, warm blanket!If you know any cancer patients please keep this blanket in mind as a gift or an option for them to buy! The price is VERY reasonable for this quality of heated blanket! It's the perfect size to snuggle under on the couch or snooze with on the bed. Not to mention it would come in handy during any treatments as well! Those heated chairs only get so warm and only for about 30 minutes to an hour. Sitting there for 2-4 hours can be very frustrating, cold, lonely, and painful....this blanket might just give a little comfort to someone on a rough/hard day.

I loved this blanket when I first got it. It’s so soft and luxurious feeling. Sadly however after the first wash it has stopped working. I followed the manufacturer instructions and even let it lay flat air drying for an extra day or so. The blanket worked for a couple of days after plugging it back in, but then I noticed it had cooled off quickly. When attempting to turn it back on the light would only blink at me.Allow me to provide an update on this item. After leaving it be for another week or so just hanging in my laundry room I was going to give it another go before tossing it out. Low and behold it worked! Apparently it just needed more time to thoroughly dry out. I do enjoy this blanket almost daily and I would consider getting this as a gift for someone along with that bit of information about air drying time after a wash.

I love it and it keeps me warm.

Pros:- Looks great! I love the marble pattern; it's neutral without being boring.- Fuzzy and soft; feels nice.- Warm!! It works.- Simple operation. Pretty straightforward with three heat settings and an on/off button. Let's not recreate the wheel, here.Cons:- Feels a bit flimsy. It's basically just two pieces of fabric sewn together with tracks for the heating cord. I would have preferred something a bit more substantial. Because it's so lightweight, the weight of the cord/controller can pull the blanket around a bit.- Controller positioning isn't ideal. The way the controller is oriented with the two cords coming out the same end of the controller makes the controller flop around way more than I think it would if it was in-line with one cord coming out the top and one coming out the bottom. It would also be better to have it closer to the blanket so you don't have to pull the cord toward you the reach it. It also falls on the floor a lot because of the floppy way it's positioned, and in concerned the repeated impact will make it break over time.- The controller is honestly super ugly. It looks outdated at best, at hospital-like at worst. Needs redesigning.- The cord would be better if it had an additional two feet or so of length on it. You have to be pretty close to the wall to use it, which doesn't work with everyone's furniture layout.- The clip attaching the cord to the blanket is REALLY HARD to connect and disconnect for cleaning. Yes, I'm doing it the correct way.- It says it's machine washable, but they might as well just say it's only hand washable with the number of restrictions they put on how it can be washed in the machine. Same thing goes for machine drying; it might as well say line dry only. I guess you can speed up the drying process a bit but you can't dry it all the way in the dryer. It feels misleading, given that machine washable is a key selling point for a lot of people. It would make more sense to have a removable cover that you can wash instead. Less complicated that way.Overall, it's an affordable option that looks nice and gets the job done. It's certainly getting me thru my first New England winter after living in warm SoCal for the last fourteen years, where the winters don't get below the 40s most of the time. So I am grateful to have it. Looking back, I would've been better off doing more research before making the purchase.

It stops working off and on for the past week

Love this throw: bought it for the sun room which is where I spend most of my time, but in winter months it can be very cool, so I thought this heated throw would be perfect. It is super thick and very soft, but I have never used the heat, as the thickness of the throw is all I need to keep warm, even in the dead of winter. I bought the burgundy plaid which is mostly burgundy and fits with the Christmas decor beautifully. This is probably one of the best investments I've made recently.

I used this electric blanket a lot during the past cold winter to help keep utility cost down. Very comfortable and easy to operate.

really cute and soft, the pink color is cute too. when i got the blanket, it would stay on all night but now it turns off after 2-3 hours. still pretty good though and the warmth is good too
