Built well. Strong wood. A bit on the heavy side for my need but I don't mind. I really like this paddle. Actually, it could be used for other purposes as well (e.g., cheeze platter). Recommended.

Title says it all: the large size gives me plenty of room to work, and the bamboo construction hasn't warped and is much less "sticky" than a metal peel--you still have to work quickly and carefully dust the peel with flour and cornmeal before you build your pizza, but compared to a metal peel it's a significant improvement. Also we've had no issues with warpage and we've been using this peel for a few years now.

Very nice peel. Well made, beautiful finish, great size, easy to wipe clean. Very thin edge makes it easy to use.

Nicely made and looks like it will last a long time. The bevel is much thicker than another peel I had making it harder to pull the pizza onto it when taking it out of the oven. It’s also very heavy. Much heavier than I’ve ever had before. Almost need two hands to lift the weight of the pizza on the peel.

This works great with just a little corn meal and can handle a good sized pie.

I needed a 3rd pizza peel and decided on this one. I do like it a lot but it is thicker and heavier than the pack of 2 bamboo peels I purchased previously. If you don’t mind the weight, go for it. The peel is strong, sturdy and washes easily.

Bought this to try instead of using a metal peel. Sprinkle a bit of semolina onto the board and the dough glides off. I then use the metal peel to turn. Recommend for those considering.

This pizza peel is well-designed and well-built and has a sufficient area for a medium-sized pizza. It is a handy tool in my kitchen and I am very happy that I bought it.

This has been a game changer for my pizza nights. I was struggling with the dough sticking on the metal paddle, the dough just slips right off this into the pizza oven. Still need to use the metal one for turning the pizza, of course. I can tell the kids are now blown away by my dad skills. Take that other dads with your sticky metal launch failures!

Purchased this specifically for it's size, so that it will fit in the Kamado Joe dough joe. The one we had was to large so was unable to be used to transfer the pizza into the dough Joe. Very happy with the quality, this will last us many years.
