Is this rope made of Nylon or Polyester? The product description states it's Nylon yet in the body of the description it states Polyester (at least at the time of this review). The label on the bag that it came in states it's Polyester (see photo). I'd like to know for sure what I am getting because these two fibers have different characteristics both in terms of strength and imperviousness to UV sunlight.I got this rope to hang my rubber fenders off the side of my pontoon boat. Previously I used a similar rope for this but it degraded and literally fell apart in one season due to the UV sunlight. I hope this rope will do better.The rope I got is white with red fiber accents. It's very attractive. It also appears to be well made. Time will tell whether it will hold up on my boat.The label on the bag it came in states "...not-Indoor and Outdoor use" (see photo). Well OK, if can't can use it in either of those two places, where can I use it? It seems to be as useful as a milk can under a bull. I assume it is a mistake in the translation, albeit a bit humorous.So far, I like the overall quality and appearance of this rope. I am knocking off a star due to the uncertainties inherent in the documentation.

This is a nice all-purpose tie-down rope for Garden, yard, small trees and is 8mm thick. It is made from high quality nylon material, and seems sturdy and durable. The nylon rope is 1/3-Inch in diameter, and 65 feet/20 meters in length. It can be cut into pieces for different needs.It is white with red tracers in its design. Its maximum load is 700-pounds. It makes for a very strong clothesline, abrasion resistant and is flexible and easy to knot. It won't rot or mildew. This is a well-made product and I give it a 4-stars rating.

I got this rope in bright blue with black markings for my boat. It’s time for a make-over, and while I’m replacing some seats, carpet and upholstery, I wanted the ropes for the rubber bumpers and so on to look equally as good. This rope let me do that. I cut it to length, burnt the ends to seal them, and tied them to the cleats. The end result is striking and attractive.At a mere $13, this 65-feet of 5/16th nylon rope is a good deal.

Great, long piece of nylon rope for all your general purpose needs for tying down tents, tarps, even tethering people to an extent. Keep in mind the 700 lb limit so you don't try dragging an enormous tree or something and wondering why this rope broke. I keep it around for all the random issues I get into in circumstances where I need a rope around. Definitely recommended if you need a rope in your life.

I'm using this rope to create a hanging canopy for my mulberry tree to keep the mulberries out of our pool this summer. This rope will attach to the bottom of the canopies to attach them to stakes (why we wanted visible), and to the tree above. This is the kind of rope you burn at the end to make sure it doesn't fray. Works well! We're happy.

I'm going to use this to tie down my pop up in my backyard. This is a nice nylon rope. I'll be cutting it to the right length. They nylon should hold up well. I may burn the edges to avoid frays if needed. It seems strong and flexible and a good length for my use.
