Memory Foam Mattress Topper with Cover, 3 inch (Double (135 x 190 cm))

If you can put up with the initial smell (which was strong for the first 36 hours but then I stopped noticing it) this mattress is the real deal, 100% memory foam with a soft cover. It's is genuinely 7.5cm thick - no doubt about that. The width and length were both 2cm short of advertised at 148cm x 198cm (king size) but close enough for me. The comfort is excellent and enables me to continue using an old creaking spring mattress underneath, that would have needed replacing otherwise. With this topper, it almost doesn't matter what's underneath, as the surface is now plush, firm and even throughout. Sleeping is now a bit warmer than before which is great in the winter. I'm not sure if it will become too hot in the summer - possibly on very humid, sticky nights - but I'll deal with that with cool bed sheets and a fan if necessary. I expect it to last for years if looked after. One thing I will mention (and which someone else has mentioned) is that the topper I received was clearly a previous customer return as was not in the original factory vacuum sealed packaging, just folded in a massive box and covered with a plastic bag. I decided to keep it as it had clearly never been used and there was no practical reason to reject it, plus I sympathise with companies having to deal with masses of customer returns these days (of which I have been guilty myself on a few occasions) so no harm done and not worth deducting a star...but something to note in your expectations. The topper itself is great so I'm happy.

Very soft and comfortable,worth every penny

This is a proper mattress topper that really does improve a tired old mattress or even just one that's too firm for your taste. It's early days, so will have to see how it holds up over time, but certainly it does a good job all in all. Why not 5 stars? It's size is a bit smaller than advertised, so the fit on my current mattress leaves an inch gap either side - a nuisance, but not a big problem unless you sleep right on the edge!!!

Lovely thick memory foam topper, just what i needed, to put on top of my uncomfortable mattress, it is so much better than the thinner ones, and its so comfortable, have had a great nights sleep on first use of it, lovely cover on it as well. I would definitely recommend it.

Wow, I have to say I feel like I've got a new bed with this topper and my new duvet! It's so comfy and you don't get hot on it! (Great for us peri/menopause sufferers!) It stays firm when you lay down and doesn't sink like some do. I couldn't wait to sleep on it when it arrived! Definitely worth the money.

Had it for some time now and still very comfy and really helps with my aches and pains.

My mattress was really old, you could literally feel the springs under your back. This topper completely changed it, I’ve been sleeping on this for over two months now and I can can say that it is very good quality, as it didn’t change. Fit perfectly my double bed. I left it flat down for about 24 hours after open it, and it was perfect to use straight away after.

Very happy with this memory foam topper. Did alot of research before choosing this one and was not disappointed except for the very tatty packaging (plastic sheet wrapped around it and box damaged). I would just warn that the very acrid chemical smell took at least 3 weeks to dissipate not the 3 days it says in the sales info.
