Not sure why I buy any other shoe for paddle tennis
I bought this model years ago and against my better judgement tried other shoes. After 3 pairs of other shoes, I'm back to the T22 model and playing my best game!

An old favorite - still works well for me!
Fit great right out of the box. I have had two of this T22 model in the past, and two of the T22.5 lighter versions.Weight: I just weighed both models: The new T22 comes in at 462 grams (with laces) and my last T22.5 is 406 grams, so the T22 is about 14% heavier. It feels like the T22 has roughly the same padding and sole, but definitely provides more upper support with its stronger and thicker sides. All I know is that it feels very comfortable to my slightly wide 10.5 feet.

Great product
This is the 5th pair of these I’ve owned and they work perfectly. These are the only shoes I’ve found with the right toe box to fit my foot. I’ve purchased more expensive shoes but they always hurt my feet. Manufacturers have a way of changing things but keeping the same model name. These are exactly the same as they were five years ago.

I think it fits more like a medium width than the previous years models
The fit is too narrow for my wide foot. I think it fits more like a medium width than the previous years models. I bought the prints T22 a little over a year ago, and I love the shoes because the toe is a box that fits wider feet. Maybe that made it too wide for average feet, so they had to narrow it with this current model – – I don't know. All I know is it does not fit like it used to, so I had to return the shoes. If the construction of the new shoe is any indicatio average feet, so they had to narrow it with this current model – – I don't know. All I know is it does not fit like it used to, so I had to return the shoes. If the construction of the new shoe is anything like the old shoe, I can attest to it's durability and comfort in the long run. I've played at least 60 to 70 matches (2to 3 sets, singles play, so you know they were under some tough conditions) with my old pair and the sole by my right front toe is just starting to wear out now. The only reason I am not giving it a five star rating is because the shoe no longer fits me.

The Perfect Platform Tennis Shoe
I play platform tennis 2-3 times a week from October through March, and then lawn tennis on soft/clay courts a couple of times a week during the summer. I wear a fairly aggressive/large set of orthoses, and the lace to the toe design facilitates a comfortable fit. As important is the six month wear through guarantee. Platform Tennis is played on a very abrasive court surface, so I wear through 3-4 pairs of shoes a season, every 6-8 weeks.I have my routine down, such that I only have to buy two new pairs a year, the first and second pairs each season, and if I'm lucky having the second replacement pair available to start the outdoor tennis season, where they encounter little sole wear, and are good through the first part of the next paddle season. I also keep the purchase receipt and replacement guarantee claim form in the original shoe box, to facilitate the return process, when the shoes wear through. The T-22 is not the least expensive model out there, but given the fit, the mesh upper, which keeps them cool in the summer, and warm enough in winter, and the herringbone sole which work fine on clay courts make them the perfect all season shoe. The T-22 has been on the market for several years, so I'm sure Prince is tempted to redesign them. My only hope is that if they do, they don't change the characteristics which have made them, at least for me, an all time classic in tennis equipment.

Stable shoe with good cushioning and durable
This shoe is built for tennis and has the features to make it one of the best shoes on the market. This shoe should not be confused with the "light" version Prince T22.To start, it sole can be used on clay or hard courts. The shoe has a built-in anti-torsion device that controls foot, ankle, and knee stress. It has a slightly higher than normal heel height and a well-cushioned footbed that reduces Achilles strain and adds pronation support. This facilitates "being on your toes" and reduces loading to the Achilles tendon particularly when launching to a ball. The heel counter has added reinforcement and the strategically placed laces allow for individualized medial and lateral support to the degree you need it.This shoe is well designed to fit a wide variety of players especially all-court players, players with lower leg and knee issues, and those that want a well cushioned supportive shoe which is just about everyone that plays tennis.

Tight in toe box
Model of the T22 in past years was extremely comfortable right out of the box. Current model purchased is tight in the toe box and seems much heavier that previous models. Can use this shoe for casual wear but too heavy/uncomfortable to play tennis.

Good arch support for flat foot.
Bought this for my hubby as a Christmas present. He is very pleased with this shoes as he has a flat foot and he gets a good arch support. He’s only used the Adidas Barricade before, but he doesn’t like the newer models: design, colors, patterns; so he is happy with the Prince.
