Works wonders Had 2nd degree burn on back of my hand. Applied often throughout the day & now not a sign it ever happened!

I’m really glad I purchased this Nutrasporin ointment. I had a curling iron burn on my forehead which was starting to blister and turn into a scab just one week before an important event I was attending. I was afraid I waited too long to find something to treat it with. I had heard silver was good for burns so was glad to find this and it seemed to indicate it had more silver in it than some other similar products. I applied this twice daily and within a few days the wound was healing and starting to fade! It was hardly noticeable within about 4-5 days of treatment. Just what I needed! I am a little perplexed that the label and packaging doesn’t prominently feature the silver as a main ingredient (like the product info on Amazon does) but more as just a preservative. Whatever the case, this stuff works!

We have an elder dog with a cyst on her back. At nearly 15 surgery is not an option. Her and our other female licked and fussed at it until it turned into a horrible, inflamed mess. Tried Neosprin, no luck. Heard about this type of product from a friend, ordered it and within days the ugly wound has stopped oozing and the swelling has gone way down. We also have a 10 year old male who has been fighting aggressive mast cell tumors. After 3 unsuccessful surgeries we decided we couldn't put him through that again. Late last summer the tumors suddenly grew again and itched badly, licking and chewing them can be life threatening. A month ago several broke open. The minute we received the Nutrasporin we started applying it to his largest tumor. They have gone back in size as he has stopped fretting at them and the open parts are slowing healing back up. I know this treatment won't cure him, but at least we now have an option to keep him from licking and agitating the growth.

I've been having cold sores come about a lot lately, I figure from illness and work stress. As soon as one heals, another starts. In a high profile job, this is not good. Finally got fed up with the expensive cold sore products that don't shorten healing time at all. I remembered my doctor telling me about the wonderful things silver can do. A single cell organism cannot survive in a silver rich environment because it cannot latch onto cell walls and multiply. I ordered this and had it for three days when another CS tried to come up right in the middle of my chin. I rubbed a tiny amount of this on as soon as I felt the tingle. Repeated 2 - 3 times a day. Was still tender for a couple days but it did not get any worse. Within 3 days, GONE! It's a bit pricey, but for my use it will last a very long time.

I don't think this is as strong as neosporin, etc., but I still use it for some things and like that there is no allergic reaction.

I had a lingering sinus infection and you cant use triple antibiotic ointment in your sinuses for any extended period so I tried this. Much to my satisfaction the sinus issue cleared up in a few days after coating the inside of my nasal passages well with Nutrasporin. A few thoughts about this. Silver is well known to have antibiotic properties and in low does is essentially non toxic. My guess it that the silver lingers in the sinuses which stops bacteria from recolonizing. Bacteria can make a surface film which cant be reached by your immune system making sinus treatment difficult. Nutrasporin gives your body time to fight the infection on the inside. I haven't done as much testing and comparing to other antibiotics on regular cuts and things like that but it does work for those ailments. . I'm convinced it is a great option. I'll keep this and regular triple antibiotic ointment around at all times.

works and is helpful, I have been using to keep a piercing clean and infection free. I needed something that was a cruelty free product, but if you have a wound or anything that is truly infected you will definitely need more than this. This will be suitable for your scrapes and everyday stuff though and the best part is it's cruelty free!

I burned my hand on the stove top 6 days before receiving the Nutrasporin ointment. I immediately followed all protocol for a burn, cool rinse then applied fresh cut aloe. Continued this along with neosporin a few days in and though I could see some healing I had to still keep it wrapped ect. in shower and to protect it from being bumped. This was not a first degree burn, my skin came off on to the stove and painful it was NOT after the initial burn so I’m guessing between a 2nd and 3rd degree burn. Evening 6 I received the Nutrisporin and applied before bed along with a bandage. The pictures above are the burn day 6 right before applying and the following picture is the next day around noon when I peeled the bandage off. IT IS AMAZING! My husband is in shock and I’m just pleased as can be with this purchase!

I already use colloidal silver spray but bought this for application where spray is inconvenient .. in particular on insect bites to which I am prone. It soothes and protects, which definitely aids faster healing. Highly recommended

Didn’t do much good

Arrived promptly - its a nice thick ointment that is okay for people and cats. Helped protect the wound, promoted healing and it wasn't as itchy/irritated.

Excellent product good quality does the job easy to use really like the product

Been using for two days skin already improved, hoping its going to do the job.
