Works with Amazon basic tripod
We were looking for extra mounts that fit with the Amazon basic tripod. This worked perfectly and now we can keep the mounts attached to the camera and the binoculars, making it easier to use tripod. Great value.

Works okay but made of plastic, not metal
Fits my Sunpak ball head tripod but has a few drawbacks:It's made of plastic so not as sturdy as one made of metal. A lot of force is applied through this small piece, especially when using a large DSLR and/or a long telephoto lens.The screw that connects to the camera must be tightened by turning a thin wire handle that is hard to grip and doesn't allow secure tightening. A better design would include a slot in the screw head to allow use of a quarter coin to get it tight enough so the camera or lens doesn't swivel on the screw.On the plus side, the item is cheap, and you get two of them.
