Easy to set up, looks and sounds great!
Easy to set up, looks and sounds great! My existing receiver did not support the LDAC Codex so I purchased this to effectively upgrade my receiver and avoid purchasing a new receivers. This unit was very easy to set up and worked great right out of the box. Comes with everything needed. My LDAC connection sounds incredible and is very, very stable. I like the little voice that tells you "power on" and "connected". Very nice all metal unit that looks expensive and substantial. I recommend!

Audiophile BT Receiver, steal for the price.
I was looking for a Bluetooth DAC to stream music on my system in a dedicated listening room. I do know that Bluetooth is not really hi-rez. But with newer tech like aptX that companies like Arcam use, the sound fidelity has gotten much better. One another limitation in my system was that it is has a "passive" preamp. So the source (like CDP or DVD players or HR Receiver) need to have a healthy voltage to drive the amp. This unit checked out on all my requirements:AKM DAC2V outputaptXRCA outOptical outI had not heard of this unit till I did a serious search on the internet for Bluetooth(BT). I compared the specs to some BT DACs upto $500 and this one was all that i was needed. Nevertheless, I was a bit skeptic from my previous experience using a Logitech BT, which had a very low output voltage. The sound was anemic in my passive system. Amazon shipped the unit pretty fast and I did not waste time to hook it up in my main system. I used a Samsung Tab A to stream songs from FolkAlley and Spotify. When the first notes from Folk Alley came on, I was AMAZED. Yes, this perfectly suited my system. All I have to do is set the BT volume on the tablet to FULL. If a user is using a regular receiver or integrated amplifier, you probably will have the BT set to only 50% of the volume, since the built-in preamplifier in your receiver/amp will amplify the sound to necessary volume. Connection is stable and I have tried to connect to this unit via the Samsung Tab A from 2 floors up. My listening room is in the basement. I have to be on the stairs between first and second floor to get a connection.Had some friends over and pairing was very simple. Though they are now music enthusiasts like me, they were amazed to hear how their Spotify music sounds in a dedicated listening room. I could not do this previously since my system is passive and lacked a BT receiver.Soundwise, it sounds phenomenal for a BT Receiver. The DACs are the same as in some megabuck dedicated CD/SACD players. I use the free Spotify and not the premium version. So cannot comment on really hi-rez streaming. But I am so happy with the sound quality, that I decided to give this unit a shout-out using the Amazon review. I did forgot to mention that this unit feels "solid" and not like cheap plastic. So you get the ownership pride too. I wish I was aware of this product when the kickstarter project kicked off.Now for the negative:The biggest gripe is, the beautifully boxed device comes with everything as mentioned on their website, EXCEPT for the USB charger that goes into the power outlet. I really did not understand why this pas not included. As for the authenticity of my "ears" and experience, you can checkout my system at the link below and judge my review:[...]I went with the Black version, since it gels well in my system. I will soon update my system page with a picture of this unit.

High-end, well worth it
High-quality. I didn’t want a cheap sounding BT receiver to connect my phone to my high-end stereo system. The audio quality is perfect and the range is wonderful - I don’t need to worry about walking out of range with my phone in my pocket.

Good solution
I recently decided that my vintage stereo really should get some more use. Sure, I have plenty of CD’s, records and even cassettes that I could play, but I was looking for an easy way to just have continuous playback. I figured that someone had to make a Bluetooth adaptor and stumbled onto this one. Setup was easy as well as the connectivity. The sound quality is fine and if anything, my 45 year old speakers are the cause of any fidelity losses.

Easy to connect, comes with instructions and cables-works well!
Easy to hookup, and pairing with all my Apple Mac Pro equipment was a relatively easy process. Using my Itunes BT signal for example, I am routing it thru a NAD-C165BEE preamp with right and left input (hook-ups included in box). The sound quality, and channel L+R separation is very defined and not bad. This is not a mono signal. Speakers are powered by 2 piggybacked Onkyo Power Amps @150 watts. My equipment is within 30ft range of each other. Unit boasts 100' range. So far, a good bargin for the money.

PERFECT!!!
Simplicity is all I can say. It was literally a plug and play and works great. After 60 years I decided to hook up my dad’s old stereo…wow!!!! Think technology is good now? Unbelievable how rich true stereo sounds. Brings back memories.

Simple and convenient.
Finally I can listen to Blu Tooth music through my older Denon receiver. So simple to hook up and play through my Smart phone. Sounds great and now convenient like using remote control to control it all including the volume. Nice! Glad I got and this one in particular.

Great audio
Shipped fast. Excellent sound quality. I am a very particular person when it comes to audio quality. I wanted to be able to stream to my digital mixer that feeds 2 amps powering a large set of main speakers and 2 18" subs so I can rock out will walking on my treadmill. Crystal clear audio. Just what I was looking for. Simple setup. Turn it on and it starts pairing automatically, select it on your phone under bluetooth, done.
