This is one of a series of books on German Aviation published by Schiffer. They are short mini histories of rare planes used by the Luftwaffe during WWII. Only twenty six were ordered, of which 18 were built.The narrative is brief; traces Junker history. The B&W photos are grainy. There are few line drawings. While this book on the Junkers 290/390 fills a gap in aviation history, they are not as good as the Squadron in Action Series.This book is OK since there is so little else written on these planes, but very few were made, they were not that successful. For the price, it is a solid addition to a collection, but not a `must have'.

Arrived on time. Nice booklet on this aircraft, packed with historical info. Good read and good for reference.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, denn diese Broschüre hilft beim Modellbau. Schade, das es derzeit kein Buch mit ausagekräftigen Bildern der DDR-Luftfahrt (Lufthansa/Interflug) aus der Nachkriegszeit bis zu den 70ern gibt.
