Sink Hole Cover, Escutcheon Plate Stainless Steel Deck Plate for 1 or 3 Hole Bathroom or Kitchen Sink Faucet Mixer Tap 10" Brushed Nickel

Got this for a Flow Motion Faucet by Biobidet, that was purchased at Costco. The plate that the faucet came with was plastic and broke since it wouldn't snap into place with the faucet. Before I installed it, I had to get a plumber to change a stubborn shut off valve. When I showed the plumber the plate and faucet, he stated that it wouldn't fit the faucet. Well, I told him it does and that I'll install it myself. Wouldn't you know, it fit perfectly with the faucet. Had no issue since the faucet came with a silicon ring to fit over the plate. It's so much better since this plate isn't plastic and matches the brushed nickel of the faucet. The plate also has a foam pad underneath it to prevent leaks. I fit it over the sink holes and haven't had any leaks at all. Also, don't believe everything a plumber tells you and get advice from other ones too.

Finally! After going through two from Big Box Stores that were flimsy or had oversized holes for the faucet, one that's made right! And instead of a mostly-hollow plastic insert that requires lots of plumber's putty to seal, this one has a foam insert that compresses nicely when you tighten down the faucet, leaving virtually no room for water to enter. I still used silicone grease on both sides of the insert; in retrospect I wouldn't do that again, as it made the escutcheon more slippery (able to turn). And it's made sturdily, so it doesn't bow at the ends when you clamp down on the center.

Covered the 3 hole sink perfectly. Exactly what I needed. I had to buy the little round piece too. Perfect.

Does the job

This fitted perfectly. I replaced the original, heavier piece that came with my faucet, which had corroded with mineral deposits. Time will tell if this one lasts, at least it wasn't expensive. A tip to make it last longer is to wipe off any water that splashes on it.

The vanity had three holes. The item worked well to cover the two additional holes exposed when replacing the faucet in the middle hole.

I like the look of this stainless steel deck plate. It did the job well and came with everything you need to cover your skin hole if you have more than 1. Overall no complaints and it was easy to install.

Color matched and was a perfect fit for the kitchen faucet I purchased.
