not recommended for anyone with strength issues
Works as well as it looks. Much easier to navigate with than a traditional tip though I don't notice much benefit from the shock absorber; perhaps due to increased length.Plan to adjust length of your cane to accommodate the shock absorbing insert. Also, expect to adjust to a significant weight increase; not recommended for anyone with strength issues.

Cane Tip
Love this tip for my cane, does a great job on all surfaces, going up & down steps is nice too.It comes with added tip pieces that screw onto the inside of the rubber tip. these are pieces for the different weight sizes of the person using the cane.Well worth the money, it is a little heavier then a regular cane tip.Yes I would tell a friend!

Great device for cane
I have an injury and not used to have to use gait assistance. This device, attached to my temporary cane I bought here on Amazon as well, lets me walk on gravel, grass, concrete sand, uneven surfaces and up and down hills. There is always a point of balance on this tip. I can still participate in my normal activities and safely.

Good ground grip
It's worked great for me. I've used it for a year now on my outdoor cane and it feels very secure on outside terrain. I recommend it.

Great traction!
This is great for outdoor use. It gives extra traction on gravel, concrete, grass, wet or dry. It is heavier than a conventional cane tip but is no problem for me.
