RoamWiFi Mobile Hotspot Pocket WiFi, Portable WiFi No SIM Card Needed, MiFi

I recently used the RoamWiFi Travel Hotspot and found it to be a convenient solution for staying connected while traveling. The device automatically connects to the strongest available local carrier without requiring a physical SIM card, making setup quick and hassle-free. It also supports up to 10 connected devices at once, which is ideal for sharing internet access across smartphones, laptops, and tablets. Battery performance was solid, with the 5,000 mAh battery providing approximately 8 to 13 hours of use depending on network conditions and the number of connected devices. Recharging took about three hours. The prepaid, pay-as-you-go data plans managed through the RoamWiFi app were straightforward and easy to use. Overall, the biggest strengths of this hotspot are its simple setup, dependable connectivity for web browsing, video calls, and remote work, and the ability to avoid purchasing or registering local SIM cards when traveling internationally. It is a practical and reliable option for travelers who need consistent internet access on the go.

I recently purchased the Roam WiFi Box from Amazon, and I couldn't be happier with it. The setup was incredibly easy and took only a few minutes. The connection is fast, stable, and reliable, whether I'm working, streaming videos, or browsing the internet. One of the things I appreciate most is its portability. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to carry when traveling. The battery life is impressive and lasts long enough to get through a busy day without constantly needing a recharge. The signal strength has been excellent, even in areas where I usually experience weak coverage. Overall, the Roam WiFi Box delivers exactly what it promises—dependable internet access wherever I need it. If you're looking for a portable WiFi solution that's simple to use and performs well, I highly recommend the Roam WiFi Box. Great value for the price and definitely a worthwhile purchase! 👍

Coming from a BAD experience with Ryoko, RoamWiFi is a breath of fresh air. Superior connection speeds with a reliable carrier (I see 30-45 mbps) makes off-site work so easy. And the extremely long battery life is over 4x better than Ryoko so long sessions are a breeze. And the data plans are a better deal. I love the app that the RoamWiFi comes with; way more info than the Ryoko web site. Just keep your devices 25-30 feet from the RoamWiFi.

I wish I had known about this device sooner. I'm in Los Angeles and live in a very large apartment complex. My sole use for this device is monitoring motion alerts for my parked vehicle using a Ring stick-up camera. For the device being in an underground parking garage, the connection is surprisingly stable. I'm a little concerned about the longevity of the battery. The device is warm to the touch. It takes far too long to charge this device to full capacity. They have reasonably priced add-on minutes if needed, which is a huge plus. So far the product is better than expected.

This is my favorite travel accessory. Whether I am leaving for a few days, a few weeks or a few months, this mobile hotspot is always in my luggage. Adding data and tracking my usage is an easy process with the application. I have not had any issues with connecting to the network in any location where I have used the hotspot, and the signal remains stable. Connection speeds were fast enough to allow me to work and to watch streaming services without any lag time. Highly recommend.

This device has been a great help to me. I travel a lot by car for work, so I use this while I'm on the road. The connection is always spot on. Though it may drop out in certain areas, that is to be expected, it reconnects to my car radio right away. The service itself seems to be pretty good. It seems like their not trying to rip you off. When my data package is finished I always seem to leave a gig or two not used. One time, while adding more gigs, I chose the same package but it seems like the system chose something better for me. It's as though it recognize that I don't use as much as I'm purchasing and gave me one that's a better value for my money. I appreciate that.. I'm sticking with these guys for a while. Hopefully they're not a one-hit wonder. All in all this mobile hotspot is a definite go to source especially when you're traveling.. I'll try it at home one day and refresh this review. But I'm believing I'll have the same quality of service at home as I do on the road........To be continued

I bought this product around two years ago, and while I don't use it incredibly frequently, it always gets the job done when I'm in a pinch. I use this whenever there's a sudden power outage, or on a trip where I still got some work to do. [DURABILITY] - Clumsily, I've dropped this a couple of times, but there were rarely any signs of scratches. - Once, it had even drop out of my bag through the cracks down several floors while going up my apartment stairs... leaving just a crack on its side but absolutely no loss in functionality. [WIFI/CONNECT] - After the free "x" amount of days upon purchase, we can "refill" through purchasing a plan at any time through their app. It allows a range of variability down to even just a one day plan. - The app is VERY easy to navigate and it takes just a few presses to select a plan, pay, and you're good to go. It allows multiple devices to connect as well without much loss in quality. The set up process is equally simple when following their little manual. - For reference, I was able to join zoom meetings, log onto games (albeit a bit laggy), and do online browsing/work on my desktop during power outages by buying a one day plan. - I've personally never lost connectivity while using it, but I've noticed more remote locations are generally slightly slower in speed. [BATTERY LIFE / MISC CONCERNS] - Be warned, this might be a deal breaker for some. If you're planning to use this on a trip (camping, hiking, etc.) without any form of charging, this will not last for more than half a day at most if being constantly used. - I learned this the hard way when I forgot to charge it fully a night prior to a hike and it died on me mid journey without any signal. - When I have a power outage at home, the typical time to fix the outage doesn't last more than a day, so there shouldn't be many issues with that constantly with ways nearby to charge. - Perhaps I don't use it often enough to know, but I haven't experienced any issues with the battery degrading in how long it can last; however, I must address that because I've only used it a few times, it's concerning how much faster it seems to heat up than I remember using it out the box initially. Overall, I consider it a fantastic purchase, and I'm grateful for the numerous times it got me out of a pinch during power outages affecting my work. Having it for road trips was a bonus, and the pricing is fair for the quality I received. It's remained consistent for use even after 2 years.

Works very well turns quickly and has great speed, watching a video on YouTube works perfectly. Easy to check data usage just click the power button and It changes the screen menus. I did the speed test in the basement with only 1 bar signal and the speeds were good. The device is nice and small easily fits into your pocket not like some that have are the size of a hockey puck.

Loved this! Had to travel to the U.S. for work from Japan and didn’t want to buy a SIM card. I was able to connect my phone, laptop, and iPad with no issue. I stayed connected to my work and friends in the U.S. without having to worry about if there would be WiFi somewhere. Was able to fit in my back pocket.

I recently came across a travel connectivity solution that has pleasantly surprised me with its consistent performance in various settings. I travelled quite a bit this year both to Kenya and Japan. This unassuming device has proven to be a reliable companion during my recent travels. During a safari in Kenya, where connectivity is often challenging, this device demonstrated its reliability with a strong and consistent signal. It allowed me to stay connected even in remote areas, enhancing my overall travel experience. I was literally in the middle of the jungle and still had signal. I had the same experience when I travelled to Tokyo and Kyoto in Japan - the device continued to deliver a reliable connection. What sets this device apart is not just its performance but also the affordability of its plans and battery life. Cost wise its cheaper than going through your carrier, especially if all you need is data and won't be making any calls. Battery last the whole day and you can easily see how much battery as well as data you have left. In summary, if you're seeking a straightforward and reliable travel connectivity solution, this device is worth considering. Its consistent signal strength and budget-friendly plans make it a practical choice for travelers looking to stay connected without unnecessary complications.

Excellent product, works well. Nice and compact similar size to IPhone. Takes about a minute to connect then just works.
