These are great icicle lights and just what I needed over a sliding glass door (indoor use). The strand was long enough that I was able to double it exactly over the door and it looks great. The "memory function" is not really a memory function, per se, but a dial that just stays where you left it - but that is completely perfect and I prefer that over on-board controller versions that sometimes reset. The only slight issue with the lights is that they are a little purplish in color and not quite true blue. They clearly clash a little with my other blue lights, but that's ok as they actually make the other lights stand out more. Great lights though.

These are beautiful lights. I bought 15 strings and got numerous compliments from my neighbors. The instructions say that if you use them outdoors, you must wrap the controllers because they are not 100% waterproof. I wrapped all the controllers in a plastic bag and secured them with duct tape. You can see from the photo that one string is not working. After the hollidays, a total of five strings were out. I contacted the supplier and was immediately credited for the five strings that failed. I did not have to send them back so that part was hassle free. The controllers are not dependable. The lights are supposed to remember the previous settings when turned on. The setting or “all on” is the number 8 selection or twelve o’clock as a point of reference. On some of the strings, the “all on” was in a different position. This proved to be unsatisfactory since I had to climb the ladder to correct the setting on the controllers. Remember, the controllers were wrapped in plastic bags but I was able to turn the switches without removing the plastic bags. Overall, I loved the lights but would only use them indoors or on a outdoor space that is well protected from the elements. My recommendation to the vendor is to eliminate the 8 function controllers and concentrate on making them 100& weatherproof.

The media could not be loaded.  These purple icicle lights are great when lit but i can’t seem to keep them lit since they short out because of their very thin and flimsy prong. The plug will not stay in the outlet. I’ve tried directly into the wall socket and extension cords but it doesn’t matter. The plug will come right out if you just touch it. The prong is much thinner than any other lights I have. I have to send them back and it’s a shame. I like the lights but I don’t want to risk a fire or blowing the lights. The plug is definitely defective.

My Christmas lights were actually ordered for next year. I plugged in the lights to make sure they work. I like that they are very bright and have several motion patterns/combinations to choose from. Easy to stroll through the various pattern combinations.

My wife wanted this over her pc gaming setup. It is entirely purple themed. She loves the lights and they are the perfect brightness. The only thing we could recommend for improvement is to have a remote control option we it doesnt need to be unplugged every time, we could just press the off button. Or even just an off switch.

When I got the box and saw how little and lightweight they were as opposed to what you buy at the store, I was worried. But they are so much prettier than what my daughter had hanging before. She had blue Christmas icicle lights and the white wire was bulky. There lights are so much better. The wire is thinner and translucent.
