BM Premium 2-Pack EN-EL15C Batteries & Dual Charger for Nikon Z & DSLR

Great quality and price . Just what I needed

Very good value, batteries hold up as advertised, charger seems to be fast enough.

Ordered this bundle, some other accessories, and a Nikon Zf at the same time, arriving yesterday. After learning the Zf was not bundled with a dedicated battery charger, I found this one and saw several "Z" series cameras listed and only noticed it included a pair of batteries after it was in the cart. I charged all the batteries and groaned when the Zf indicated that it didn't recognize the BM 3rd-party batteries. I popped them in my Nikon D810 body and grip and the D810 does recognize them. I knocked one star for the lack of an update to the product page not explicitly noting the Zf's non-capatibility. A full star is harsh, I feel, but 5 stars is not honest either. If the batteries perform spectacular or shamefully in my D810, I will do my best to update this review. The charger did what was supposed to for its EN-EL15-type batteries and also appears to have charged the Nikon EN-EL15c battery just fine. The BM batteries charged quickly and the red LED indicators popped green at about the same time after a seemingly short period of time, perhaps an hour. I believe they arrived with a partial charge but I didn't verify that. The Nikon battery (EN-EL15c) that came with the Zf took several hours to go from red to green. Before charging, the Zf would not give any indication the battery was installed. I didn't test it in my D810. After a long charging period in this BM charger, the Zf indicated the supplied Nikon battery was at full charge and the camera is fully functional. I do appreciate the chargers different LED indicator colors, though if one bay is empty and one is charging, the empty bay's LED lights up green instead of going dark. Not a defect, just an observation of its design (that disturbs my zen). I revisited this BM product page on Amazon and saw that the Zf is not mentioned anywhere except in a couple of the reviews; which state that this battery is not compatible with the Zf. Sigh. I cannot speak to the Zfc camera but perhaps the Zf won't accept this brand because the battery predates the release of the Zf. Not a loss for me to consider returning, as my D810's batteries are from 2010 (D7000 leftovers ;) and 2014. The 2010 batteries are too feeble for the Zf (though they are recognized) and the 2014 battery works fine in the Zf, for those who were curious. The 2010 and 2014 EN-EL15 packs are all Nikon brand.

We received the batteries and immediately started the charging process using the Dual-Bay USB Digital Charger that came with the batteries. The batteries took at least four hours to initially charge, which seems to be the norm for brand new EN-EL15c Li-ion batteries. At the very same time we received and went through the exact same charging process with one brand new Nikon EN-EL15c Li-ion battery purchased from Amazon.com. The charging times were the same as when we initialy charged Nikon EN-EL15c Li-ion battery using its Nikon MH-26a battery charger. As we use these batteries we will have a true measure of how long they last in actual use and their recharging characteristics.

Great addition to my collection for backups to Nikon Z8 and Zf. Charging station has a relative decent charge time. The cable is short but i use a longer one.

I purchased these for my Z6iii but after being fully charged they discharged extremely fast after maybe 100 shots, possibly less. Being caught out in the field with two spare almost useless backup batteries was not a good experience. I cannot recommend these for the Z6iii.

Sturdy and reliable. No problem with heat.

Battery upgrade for a Nikon D500, just as good as original En-El15C for a fraction of the price, charger included !

Compré las baterias porque supuestamente la batería original ya no cargaba, pero la puse a cargar con este cargador y si funcionó, con el original ya no quiso cargar, sin embargo el cargador original si funciona con otras pilas. Desconozco a qué se deba pero al parecer trae un chip, la batería original está en más de $2,000 pesos y con esto ahorré y ahora puedo tomar más fotos si preocuparme si alcanza o no la batería.

Estas pilas las regresé a Amazon porque no las aceptó la cámara nikon Zf,

Works great. I use the batteries in my Nikon Z6II. No issues and works great.
