Well I did not buy this for my self. The little birds I got it for have chirped in approval of it though. They like to pick and pull on it. I believe world domination by them have been thwarted for a little bit longer with this toy.

I have a very active little budgie hen who LOVES her toys. She likes to repeatedly chew on the corners and edges of things, and this little toy was perfect for her because when she starts chewing on one of the birds the other one pops up and the first one "disappears" into the hat. She loves the little dangly parts below too and spends a lot of time arranging them. She won't let her mate anywhere near it.I did find this toy later on cheaper elsewhere online but I needed it right away to replace her JW Pet "Birdie Bowling" set that she broke and was missing and the fast shipping was important.I love the JW pet company bird toys. They are thoughtful and birds actually enjoy playing with them.

My Conure broke the birdies head off of the toy in 2 days. :(

My bird LOVES this toy!!!! He has more fun pulling the bunny and chicken from the hat than the dangle things to make them pop up.

It is a magician's hat. If the bird pulls one of the chains (below the hat), a white rabbit comes out of the hat. If the other chain is pulled, a yellow bird comes out instead. It's easy to attach to the cage and it has a nice mirror. In my experience, parakeets love mirrors and chains. I bought this for a new bird but he or she hasn't played with it, yet. Maybe soon? I hope so. I love to spoil my pets.

My Bird loves this toy.

This toy requires a strong tug on the chain to make the birds in the hat go up and down. My budgie sits on it and pecks at the bird up. He's trying to figure out what to do with it, but he cannot operate it himself. Super fast shipping!

My 4 year old budgie just loves this toy. Makes him think and keeps him occupied for hours and hours.

My 2 budgies have a time with this toy. While they attempt to pick at the pull cord they are most interested in standing on top and trying to pull up the little animals. They’ve spent hours playing with this toy.
