Amazon Basics Cross Rail Roof Rack, 52 inches, Fits up to 46" Spans between Raised Side Rails with Gap, Pack of 2, Black/Silver

I originally tried another brand for my Range Rover but they sent the wrong size, so I returned it and got these Amazon Basics racks instead. They were $20 cheaper and honestly look like they could've come from the same factory - quality is just as good. I'm mainly using them on my Mercedes GL and the aluminum finish matches the factory rack really well, which is nice. Installation was straightforward and they fit properly. I got them to work with a Sailnovo rooftop cargo bag to use for roadtrips; which I haven't used yet but gets good reviews. Like any roof rack, there's some wind noise at highway speeds, but the rubber filler pieces that go in the tracks help cut it down quite a bit. For the price difference compared to other brands, I'm really happy with these. They're solid, fit well, and do exactly what they're supposed to do.

Easy to install and fit snuggly on our Traverse. Provide stability for our cargo box. The stealership wanted $300 and these were less than $70 and doing great. Money well spent!

I was very happy with this purchase. For the price I paid I thought it was going to be of lesser quality than what the competitors offered. But I was wrong. This is well built and easy to put together. It fit my vehicle very well. My only issue with it is that when not cargo loaded the cross rails are noisy when driving on the highway at any speed over 40 mph. A loud whistle is heard even with the rubber strips installed. But for the price I’m willing to overlook that small issue.

Will not fit 2022 Ford Explorer. Not wide enough to secure it properly to the vehicle. The overall manufacturing of it is great. But some things it just won't work on. I gave it a shot. Oh well. Try something else.

Just spend the money and get an actual name brand roof rack. We put our kayak carriers on these crossbars and the crossbars failed going down the freeway and sent our kayak (Along with the crossbars) into traffic. We were fortunate enough that it didn’t hit another car, but it’s a miracle it didn’t. It was installed as specified, and it wasn’t over the weight limit. Would not recommend for carrying kayaks. With that being said, shameless plug to the Lifetime kayak. It flew off the car, hit the road and tumbled away. And you can’t even tell. Definitely buy a Lifetime Kayak. Not these crossbars.

The oem Toyota Tacoma rack is a huge disappointment. The wind noise of deployed crossbars is horribly loud, even under 50 mph. The crossbars are also too far apart for a cargo box and other accessories. It is basically useless. The Amazon Basics rack solves those problems. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The Amazon basics description says only fits up to 2.1 inch diameter bars and the Tacoma bars are substantially wider, so i was hesitant. I found that the Amazon bars fit much wider than 2.1", just slide the feet over the vehicle bars and then slide the crossbars through the Amazon feet. It wont work if you try to attach to vehicle with feet on the crossbars over vehicle crossbars exceeding 2.1". The rack took a little over an hour to fit everything, being overly cautious. Very impressed with the quality of the rack for such a low price. I did add some stainless self tapping scews to the ends of the crossbars to keep the plastic endcaps from falling off. And I wish it came in black, but I intend to coat with black herculiner to match my tracone and oem racks...so no biggie there. Some of the reviews said the bars were loud, but I just took it up to 70 mph and the bars are virtually silent. The reviewers who said these Amazon bars are loud must have messed up on the installation or something. At highway speed, there is only a very slight wind noise which is about equal to the hum of my all terrain tires. Now the Tacoma can have a Thule box on top of the cab. I do have quite a bit of expereince hauling gear on top of a rack and I would recommend very strong tie downs secured very well to both front and rear of vehicle if you plan to haul kayaks, canoes, ladders on the Amazon crossbars. Maybe even run long lashing straps through the vehicle interior for heavy kayaks and canoes. Those who are totally obsessed with accessories looking perfect probably wont be happy with permanent mounting of the Amazon crossbars on a Tacoma because the feet are oversized to accommodate much fatter bars. They do look a little funny with the gap above the oem bars, and the rack does not look very secure at first glance. However, the rack feels really strong when shaking the vehicle around. I think I will leave these on all the time once they are black to match the truck, but seems like they can be removed and thrown up there for ocassional use quite quickly and easily.

I bought the 52" ones even though I couldn't find anything definitive on whether they would fit my 2014 Odyssey. The rear one was fine but the front too short. So I got the 56" ones when they became available as a renewed item. Surprisingly the two lengths are different designs. The 52" looks futuristic and clean with a trapezoidal shape, but the 56" has a hexagon shape. The rail mounts are different, with the 56" looking like something from the 90s while the ones for the 52" are sleek and modern. They work OK, but don't clamp firmly to my rails. They end up slightly tilted. The clamp design isn't as good as Whispbar crossbars I've used in the past and the bars are unnecessarily high. The rubber seals to reduce wind noise are difficult to put in and out and the big bolts block T screws and T nuts from going in the rail from the sides. For the price, these are good. There is some manufacturing variation but the top channels are about 20mm x 7.6mm with an 11mm opening. The bottom is about 22x18 with a a 12mm opening. I measured them so I could 3D print accessories. You can use standard 20mm M6 square nuts and screws to attach things using the channels. Pictures of both 52" and 56" are attached. If you carry heavy things or anything with a lot of wind resistance like stand up paddle boards, I recommend strapping to your roof rails too, because I can't say whether these are secure or as strong as OEM crossbars.

Toller, sehr preiswerter Dachgepäckträger Wir haben diesen Träger für unsere Skandinavien-Rundreise auf unseren Touran (Bj. 2019) montiert und darauf mittels Nutenstein-Schrauben eine große bzw. sehr lange Kamei-Dachbox befestigt, um zwei SUP-Sets mitnehmen zu können. Die Montage erwies sich als kinderleicht, die Fahrten auf Autobahnen und Landstraßen sind bisher vollkommen unproblematisch verlaufen. Ab ca. 120 km/h hört man den Träger auch ohne Dachbox etwas pfeifen, aber in Skandinavien ist das Tempolimit ohnehin niedriger. Der Träger wirkt auf mich nach ca. 700 gefahrenen Kilometern sehr stabil: Für den Preis also eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung ;)

Je cherchais des barres de toit a monter sur mon ford ranger (double cabine de 2017). Je ne voulais pas y mettre trop cher, c’est pour un usage tres ponctuel. J’ai d’abord pensé « occasion », et j’ai regardé sur un site de petites annonces bien connu. Ne trouvant pas mon bonheur j’ai regardé sur internet, et les sites de centre autos. Puis je suis tombé sur celles ci, a un prix imbattable 👍🏻👍🏻 Reçues en un temps record, et montage dans la foulée. Les barres semblent de bonne qualité, et bien finies. Je ne les ai pas encore utilisées par contre. La longueur de 135cm est parfaitement adaptée a mon ranger. Le montage est plutôt simple, RAS. En guise de sécurité antivol, il y a une petite clé qui obture ou non l’accès a la vis de montage. Je suis très content de mon achat.

Me ha sorprendido lo fácil que me ha resultado instalarla. Por su precio tan bajo, pensé que no sería de buena calidad, pero es muy resistente y queda muy elegante montada. Muy buenas barras para llevar materiales. Y son compatibles con mi Seat Arona.

Le produit est bien fait, semble solide. Parfait pour Subaru Ascent 2022. Toutefois faut pas penser installer les caoutchoucs sous les barres durant l'hiver, puisque légèrement difficile durant l'été entre les 2 fixations. les clés ne sont pas sécuritaires. Clés sur seulement sur 2 fixations sur quatre. Il aurait été intéressant d'avoir un petit caoutchouc pour refermer les ouvertures pour la clé de serrage (allen key). Quant à la durabilité, je ne sais pas.
