Great Amp
This amp really performs. I have it pushing 2 JBL 12โs and they really thump. Word of advice, do not go with the manufacturers suggestion of 8ga wire. Use 4ga wire for your power and ground.

Pairs great with JBL Basshub
I bought this to power my passive 11" JBL Basshub and they pair together perfectly at 600W RMS. I love the bass knob remote and it works great. I was concerned after several people mentioned that adjustments on the knob doesn't make much difference, but I think this might be caused from the gain or bass boost being set improperly on the amplifier settings. Of course this is circumstantial: my only complaint is that my "like new" model came with a broken faceplate, but honestly I don't care too much since its stealth mounted.

Good sound
Amp sound good, response well to low tones. Have it running two 10 inch subs and it has them slamming.

Buyer beware of JBL and the warranty claims.
I had the amp installed. It worked perfectly. One day It stopped working. It was under factory warranty. It was a bad amplifier. JBL will not stand behind there warranty. Buyer beware on the JBL products sold.

One year old, no issues, (update: 2 years, dead/fire hazard)
I've had the A600 paired with the JBL Stage 12" 4 ohm subs (parallel @ 2 ohms) for just over a year now and they are a good match. These are in my daily driver so they've seen plenty of play time, around 30 minutes to an hour 5 days a week, conservatively. I don't go easy on the amp and speakers at all. I make my own bass tunes and some of them feature almost 100% steady sine waves under 100 hz. The low-low's aren't great but that's what you get from 250w 12" subs in a compact vehicle. I don't blame the A600. If you want to get good vibrations below the 40hz range you could easily push a single 15" or 18" at 2 ohm with this amp. As good as it has been to me I now know there are quite a few class d mono blocks that are more powerful for less than half the cost of the A600. I'm sure some of those have inferior components and probably would not survive 400 days pushing peak power but if you do your research you'll see there are a dozen or so cheaper alternatives with good reviews from happy customers. I have a 2000w @1ohm amp in my other vehicle and it's happy to run peak power of 650w @ 2 ohms without even getting warm to the touch. I paid less than $100 for it. In fact, as I type this, the A1000 amp is $20 less than the A600. I feel like I got robbed a little. I also don't like the plastic trim ring that snaps on and off or the slide-off cover for the controls. I always feel like I'm going to break the plastic trim piece by pulling on it and sliding the cover down towards the power / ground / remote / speaker wires seems like a design flaw. That's not a good place to slide a big piece of metal into. Once you get it tuned in that's no longer an issue so it's not a deal breaker. Update, July 2024: Dead. Worked one day, the next day it blew fuses when I turned the car on. Checked for shorts, etc., replaced fuses, blown again. Pulled amp out of car, took inside and hooked up to a 12v / 40 amp battery block so I could test each wire. Unit stayed on but got REALLY hot REALLY quick. Didn't blow the fuses, though. I hope it would have blown them before melting. It was too hot to touch on one side, which to me seems like fuse blowing temps. This is after having 12.6v under low amps going through it for about 30 seconds. The only thing I can attribute to is possibly the weather. We had several days of 90-100 F temps. I had a 120mm fan wired up to blow air across the amp and it seemed to be working fine until it just didn't.

O oh
Best 2 channel amp out there. I'm using it for my 6x9 back subs, and with three easy options for the install. You can never go wrong with JBL.....So I thought, the amps volume controller doesn't work anymore, in fact the knob slides right off. Please buy your products directly, DO NOT USE AMAZON......... They are there only to take your money, but if you have an issue you have to to contact someone. In my case I never received any call back. Im done with AMAZON
