Grandpa Gus's Rodent Repellent Spray, Natural Peppermint Oil, 16 Fl Oz

I purchased this product because this time of year I get a lot of spider webs and spiders on my Lani in florida, so I cleaned off my Lani screens and spayed this product every where the webs and spiders collect and a month later still no webs.This product smells like peppermint oil so no harsh chemical odor I also sprayed it inside my home.Great product

This product will deter the rodents.Too bad it doesn't kill them...Over a good product to always have for convenience of using it when needed.

Sprayer is not nearly as a good as prior model!

I got this in hopes it would deter squirrels, chipmunks and possibly skunks away from my garden. I realize this might be more intended for small crevices like crawl spaces and small spaces along foundation and around walls but I wanted to use something that doesn’t harm the environment and or injure animals. I applied this in the evening, the ground was not wet and it didn’t rain overnight. I sprayed it on the sides of my potted plants, the perimeter of my garden, the edging and the ground between my plants and flowers. The squirrels and a local skunk had eaten the ears from 18 stalks of corn from a raised bed previously before the application and I had 4 stalks that I had planted at the end of my plot directly in the ground. This product said it’s safe for plants. I sprayed the ground around the remaining stalks and I sprayed the leaves and stalk up until the lowest ear in the evening. Well it didn’t matter. The next morning the remaining ears were all eaten. I certainly think this was a squirrel as one wanted to bring the feast back to their tree as I see the mostly eaten cob at the base of the tree a few yards away.It does have a potent scent I could smell for about 30 mins in the air and I did NOT dilute it.The first 2 seasons I planted corn maybe I would lose 4 ears maximum to chipmunks. This year they completely wiped me out. We didn’t get to try any of them. I don’t live in an area with other food sources-neighbor bird feeders, plenty of vegetation aroundFYI-some of the product must have misted onto my arm as I began to see a mild rash. I rinsed with soap and water and it went away.I’ll hang onto it to apply as the temps get cooler in the fall to deter any chipmunks or mice from coming inside but it want successful even short term from deterring them. They were literally walking over it and spending time where I saturated the ground.

I has a serious problem with mice in my car!!!! Ate through hoses and wires. I was at my wits' end and I tried many things.My dealership recommended this product and it worked.I will be perfectly honest with you...You have to spray it a couple times a week to keep the scent strong but well worth the effort.I have bought this at least five times....So, you just know I must like it a lot!!!*****One downside is the sprayer nozzle can be very very finicky. I always save the previous container that I KNOW will work. ****

The Rodent repellent is a good product to keep around the house to keep different things out of the house and/or around the house. The smell is good for keeping different bugs out and mice.

Finally something that works on rodents.I have tried every rodent repellent out there. I put a bug bomb in my shed. Nothing worked. I tried the sonic repellents, they didn't work.I used other sprays and powders. They come right back.I sprayed the inside of my shed. No rats today. There is usually one or two.I used it on the outside this morning.Thank you, I'm spreading the word.

I think this worked instantly! I sprayed into my crawl space vents and around the baseboards inside. The 4 star rating is because my sprayer attachment wasn’t sent. I poured the solution in an empty spray bottle. The scent is not overly strong.
