Does what it says it does.
So far this works great. I needed to go from my shop compressor to an air brush without buying another compressor dedicated to the air brush. The air regulator does a great job of delivering air at 20 psi needed for the air brush to work properly. It was easily attached to the work bench with two wood screws not provided but I would not necessarily think that a bad thing. The included bracket attached easy and the air regulator gets stabilized by tightening the collar to the air regulator.I also purchased a set of connectors which was a good move. This enabled me to connect the compressor which is the larger threaded connectors. Along with a liberal application of plumbers tape (very thin white nylon stuff) on the threading of all the connections, I have not seen any leaks but have not used the air brush for a longer period of time.Nice inexpensive solution.. let's see how long it lasts.

Decent value and quality, can feed right to left
Item is as good as anything I have seen on the airbrush kit compressors and I expect it will do exactly what it says it will. I, like many, purchased this to connect my Point Zero air brush to my large Craftsman twin tank shop compressor and it works perfectly for that. The one thing in my application that wasn't great for me was the in and out airflow direction (yellow arrow). The direction is marked with a small arrow on both sides (yellow circles) but for my workshop a right to left flow just works better for air hose and brush hose management. After looking closer at the unit there was a 'dummy' plug on the backside (blue arrow), opposite the gauge attachment threads. I then found you can remove that filler plug, move that to the 'front' and install the gauge on the 'rear, remove the red ring on the regulator knob, turn the mounting bracket 180* and reinstall the ring and you now feed air in and out, right to left. Unit works perfectly. Pictures tell the story as well.

Works great on my 3 gallon "pancake" compressor.
I bought a set of air brushes a few years ago that came with a compressor and this same regulator. That compressor didn't have a tank, so when I used it, it ran constantly. It worked, but, I knew I'd get better results with one that had a tank. A few months after that purchase, I was at a discount tool store and found a 3 gallon, oilless, "pancake" compressor on sale so I gabbed one. I thought about using the regulator from the other compressor but decided to buy another regulator instead and sell the other compressor. After a few hours plumbing the new compressor with a 4" long piece of pipe, a T-fitting, a few elbows and other fittings to get the regulators 1/8" fitting attached to the 1/4" from the compressor, I now have it set up so that I can use the compressors original regulator for the full 100 P.S.I. for brad nailers, etc. while leaving this regulator set for my airbrushes. It works great and since I used a pipe sealer stick instead of teflon tape, none of the fittings leak. I also removed the mounting bracket from the regulator since it's plumbed directly into the compressor.

The air compressor for the air supply has an excellent regulator but the gauge did not have enough resolution ...
I use this as a secondary regulator for airbrushing my RC aircraft. The air compressor for the air supply has an excellent regulator but the gauge did not have enough resolution at low pressure settings to accurately set the required pressure for an airbrush. And the air compressor is on the other side of my shop from my airbrush paint booth. I mounted the PointZero regulator close to my airbrush work station with quick disconnect fittings for both the supply and the output. Now it is a simple matter to connect or disconnect both my air supply to the regulator and from the regulator to my airbrush. The pressure setting will need to be set a few pounds above the pressure desired to compensate for the pressure drop when the airbrush is used. This is not an uncommon procedure with pressure regulators, especially at low pressure settings. I use Paasche airbrushes and their hoses have the 1/4" NPT connector so quick disconnect fittings are in abundant supply at your local home improvement stores.Mounting the regulator was not a problem with the supplied mounting bracket and I have not had any problems with the plastic mounting ring supplied with the unit. However, I did mount the regulator on a 1" x 4" x 8" piece of scrape wood to protect the unit in case I accidentally bumped it.The regulator is a bargain and worth every penny I paid for it.

one day the PSI gauge kept rattling loud and getting worse so I tightened the screws nothing so I took ...
OK I had my airbrushing tank for about two years and I do not use it all the time as if someone would be doing ifairbrushing for a job. one day the PSI gauge kept rattling loud and getting worse so I tightened the screws nothing so I took off the whole valve assembly tried some glue then put the valve piece back on the same way I took it off only for it to start leaking I thought I must have broke it. OK my bad lesson learned. bought a new piece came with no directions only a piece of paper for you to go on a website to learn airbrushing tips um ok but first can I have something to let me know I am doing this right. OK valve has male threaded piece and air tank has female threaded piece easy screw it on not to tight or loose bingo um no it leaks so much the psi gauge does not register it keeps leaking I tried putting pipe threading tape nothing I have it to wear it will only go to 50 to 60 psi witch is way to much for my needs and I have to keep the valve horizontal and not vertical like it was originally. oh and the psi gauge still rattles like crazy.
