I used this product to add protection for my internet connection outside my home. Our cameras are linked to wi-fi. I used anti-theft screws to secure it around the connection. It should deter burglars. I positioned a camera ten feet above it facing down towards it. Inside the cage I further hardened the internet connection by placing the fiber optic connection inside a locked box with conduit around the wire below ground level.
