This is very sturdy and great for hardwood floors. We use it as a highchair mat because any other baby intended mats do not stay flat against the surface. This product is great in that it comes flat - not like other vinyl products that come rolled up - and do not bend or roll at the edges.

Purchased for a carpeted floor. It arrived in a very secure flat box, which was bit of a challenge to open, but that's why it arrived in such great shape. Desk chair rolls smoothly and mat is clear. which I like. My old mat was opaque. Would not hesitate to order from this company again!!

Originally ordered a glass mat and it got lost in shipping, but I’m happy with this. It works well, is much cheaper, and a larger size.

I'm using this mat in my home office with an dense area rug. While it's far better than the hard plastic mats that need hot baths, hair dryers etc., to unroll and lay flat, as others with rugs have noted, it slowly slides in the opposite direction of your chair's position. After 10-20 minutes or so, it will move several inches...and needs to be re-positioned. 1st world problem, but still.I tried various grip products to keep it in place but nothing worked. Finally, I placed the file cabinet portion of my L-shape desk on the mat's outer edge--I had wanted to avoid doing this, concerned it might crack or damage the mat but I was desperate to stop the sliding.Not only did it stop moving/sliding, but so far there's no sign of any undo stress on the mat...fingers-crossed. Just something to bear in mind if you're considering purchasing it. The mat is a quite nice overall allowing easy movement of my chair...and was priced at around $40 when I purchased it. Great deal.

Didn’t know what to expect when I ordered. Was thinking about glass but I went with this. So far, so good.

I purchased tis for a carpeted floor and it has worked well to this point, flexable so we will have to see in time if it can hold up to daily use

Good material (Polycarbonate). 0.125" thick. I used this as an overlay on PVC placed over carpet. I didn't like the matts that had spikes. If I had to do this again I would 2 of the Polycarbonate sheets. An alternate would be to lay down a 1/4-inch plywood sheet with one sheet of the 1/8-inch Polycarbonate over it.
