Fun game for family
We purchased this for a family game night at our school. The rules were very easy to understand and the game play engaging for all. Several teachers made note of the title so they could purchase for their class.

So fun!
This is such a fun and underrated game! My kids and I played it for an hour and a half the first time (it doesn't take that long to get through a single game--that was probably 3 or 4 rounds). And they beg to play it all the time! It is really great for sparking creativity, but not so demanding that kids who struggle with that will feel uncomfortable. The whole family can enjoy it. I can't say enough good things about this game!

Great for speech/language therapy
I work as a middle school speech, language pathologist. My students really like this. It’s almost like a simpler version of dungeons and dragons. My creative/fantasy loving teenagers enjoy playing this. It’s great to work on narrative skills, articulation, and many other skills.

Imaginative wonderful game.
I am using this game for a young 4-year-old, with a couple of adaptations. (1) Even for all ages, the "guess what the player is going to select" portion of the game makes no sense. So we took that out of the play sequence. The game moves along and is more fun without that. (2) In order to make play rewarding for every player, during every turn (which is helpful for younger players), I added more "coins." I actually bought inspirational coins for $1.38 each (bronze variety) from a 12-step website. They say things like "I am a miracle" and "Life is a journey, not a destination." Appropriate sayings for a little kid. Now, each time a player adds to the story, they receive a coin. (And, the coins are really nice, not just a little piece of cardboard.) In our game, there's no "winner" or "loser." Instead, we have created a magical, adventurous, detailed story together. And each time we play, the story will be different. The game, whether played our way or "by the rules," teaches children (and grown-ups) to be creative, add details, make events link together, remember past events (like what the "traveler" is still carrying and how those items might be used), etc. There are videos posted on-line showing how this game is played - watch those, and you'll see how our adaptations might also be improvements you'll want to use. I recommend this game, but I just didn't like some of it's element as played by the rules. So, make up a better game!

Love this game!!
We LOVE this game. We got it for our daughters 7th birthday because she loves writing stories. This was such a fun game and even our almost 4 year old was able to play with a little extra help. What is awesome, is there are a ton of cards but even once you've seen them all, you can play this forever and make a different story. It's a fun game to play together and really bring out their creativity. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Neat Game For Storytellers
We loved this game! My son is a natural born story teller, and this game is right up his alley. We had a blast making up stories together, and I love how we broaden each other's minds with the twist of events we throw out at each other. If your child likes to make up stories you should try this game out. We love it!

Story telling game where each player is involved in telling the story
I think it will be fun . My seven-year-old granddaughter, and I play a lot of games. She loves to act our stories so I thought she would really enjoy this . Hopefully she will. She is very bright and it may be easier for her to understand being a child often helps in these type games . My concern is the direction are a little involved. I think it might be frustrating the first few times you try to play. Also, often it is just the two of us and I think this game would really be more fun with at least three possibly four. I believe that would also help make the game less confusing.I really do think it will be a lot of fun once we play a few times, and as earlier mentioned, I believe it would also help to have another person
