My husband laughed when I bought this and said you don't need that. When he took the car and my phone was inside she was very happy we had it. Dry as a bone

Tested in Green river and Lake Powell. Protects the content as it is supposed to. I do recommend it, and even more - do test it in Green River, Utah!

I think the headline sums it up. If you don't want to get your stuff wet, and want something that will last many years.....then you found what you need!

Good for the price but is way to thick for backpacking!

I ordered this dry bag by Addelements for my husband to use when fishing. This waterproof dry bag is made of very durable and heavy duty PVC material. It weighs 11oz (empty) and has an 8” height when zipped closed. Also comes with an adjustable shoulder strap that can be easily and quickly detached, making it easy to carry this bag around your shoulder leaving you with free hands. It is easily cleaned by wiping it down with a damp cloth. The bag is very large and can hold many items. This bag could be used for hiking, camping or even going to the beach or pool, a very versatile waterproof bag. I am always worried about my husband losing his cell phone or wallet while fishing or them getting wet somehow and now I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I live in the Pacific Northwest, famous for it's grey skies and drizzle. There's a common belief that if we waited for nice weather, we'd never get to go outside. So, my family and friends plan to hike, camp, fish, boat, and whatever else regardless of weather.This bag will be SO HELPFUL! It's lightweight, generously sized, and keeps things dry. I especially like the option to trap air inside to help it float should it get lost in the river while hiking, or over the side of a boat. This will also fit the bill nicely after an outdoor trip that ends up wet to get soggy clothes home without getting the interior of the car damp.The 10L size (when closed per the instructions) will hold about as much as a standard backpack, perhaps a tiny bit less. The only thing I would change is there are no interior pockets, which would be nice so you don't have to go digging for car keys or cell phone. But with that being said, having no dividers or interior pockets means I can use the space however I need to.I am so excited to start breaking this in.
