I already have something under the strings that removes most of the high frequencies. This removes most of the low frequencies, balancing the overall, reduced sound pretty well.I had to trim some material off the edge of the item where it interfered with the fingerboard on my classical guitar -- after that, it fit. I made it so that I would have to force it into position and this would hold it in place, because despite my measurements of the sound hole, the product was slightly to small for a snug fit. Also, the material is strange -- a fairly hard, primitive rubber/plastic that smells strongly between tar and black licorice. The smell is almost too much. Not sure why they didn't just use a soft silicone rubber that would flex more (and fit better) and not smell so bad. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As described, does the job, but heavy *by C***P on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 19, 2021* Got this to keep cat hair out of my guitar while on the stand.
