When we ordered the product desertcart offered to have assembly added on for an additional charge and to save us the headache we decided it was worth the charge. The Product itself is impressive. The bunk bed is sturdy and overall is great quality. The height is perfect for a toddler, mine is not scared at all and chose to sleep on the top bunk. My only critique/concern is the slide is very thin and not very stout (a heavier child may break it). Overall- super happy and would recommend!!

A: In my personal opinion, I would say too small. My son is 6 and he has already “outgrew” the top bunk and has moved to the bottom for more room & says it is more comfortable with space.

**Q: can the peak of the roof be left off? I have a short ceiling but hopefully not for long.**
A: Yes. The roof doesn't have to be put on. I believe that was the last thing I installed and it worked fine without it.

Bought for my grandson. It took 3 hours to assemble. Had a problem with one of the roof sections that was a wrong part. Very nice children's bed play set. would recommend this product.
