LXB530 LED Upgrade Module 530 Lumen for 3-6 C/D-Cell Maglite Torches

Ultra easy, straightforward conversion of my very old (but still perfect condition) Maglite 4 cell torch to LED. Now has a dramatically brighter beam and batteries should last much longer as well.

I like the increased brightness of the LED Module upgrade, which is certainly over 500 lumens when compared to another torch of mine which is 550 lumens, although not quite as bright or white a beam. The LED bulb will use far less energy than the incandescent bulb it replaces and so make the Duracell batteries last far longer. The LED Upgrade has also given my 6 D Cell 25+ years old Maglite a new lease of life, having been relegated to a drawer when LED technology came in. On the negative side, it's a pity Litexpress don't make a thousand lumens LED upgrade, which would provide those of us with older, but still very serviceable, Maglite torches a really brilliant torch with an output equivalent to the latest Maglite 4 D-Cell which costs nearly £150 on Amazon. That's a lot of money, even allowing for a quality American made product. I forgot to mention that this LED upgrade is well made, so worth the extra money for a quality product. Also I received an email from Jablokoff thanking me for my positive review of their product and in response to my wish to see a 1000 lumen upgrade, they replied a ' desire for 1000 lumens is also our goal! We will only offer such modules if we can keep the heat development to a level that will not lead to damaging the reflector, switch or lens of your Maglite.' I shall certainly be buying one of those, once they've cracked the technical issues and hope it's not too far off, so five stars to spur them on.

Used to replace an "old style" lamp. The transformation in brightness is astounding. Not necessarily a cheap solution but if you want better light performance then its a price worth paying.

One word: Amazing! Turned my 25 yr old Mag Lite, built like a tank and given it a cutting edge beam. Easy to fit. Exceptional value! What's not to love!

Easy to fit and very bright, great improvement on the normal bulb.

I am very pleased with this LED conversion. The light output of my 35 year old 4 cell Maglite with old bulb was a very poor second compared to that of modern LED torches. I was a little unsure as to whether to spend teens of pounds on this conversion but finally took the plunge. I replaced the original bulb with this conversion with some trepidation but was extremely pleased with the result when I switched the torch on. Once focused into a nice solid and really bright beam I was pleased to see that there was no trace of a dark centre spot as with the old bulb. The beam is easily good for 100 yards out and more.

Imagine this normally works, but i was delivered a faulty one. Only just got round to fitting it so return is not possible. Straight out of packaging, wasnt damaged. Just doesnt work...

Not quite lightsaber but it has totally transformed an old torch that didn’t get used that much to a great piece of kit. Purchase is a no-brainer.
