I've only been using the battery for a week, but so far the battery life seems good. It was easy to install (keep the original screw, as noted by other reviewers), fit perfectly, and charged up immediately. It came fully discharged, so I had to charge it upon receipt. The battery life has been good, even though the capacity is a few hundred mAh less than the original. Otherwise, good battery.

Bought for our Nook e-reader who's oem battery had buldged and no longer worked.Easy to replace, removed back cover, one small screw and replaced with this battery.Packaging is very nice on this battery as wellEasy cheap fix, battery has been showing fully charged for over 4 days still...Would recommend...

So I got this for my original nook. It needed charged for 12 hours before it was full but now it only takes a hour to get up to 100% from about 50%. The last battery in my nook lasted 7 or so years and this one only has a 12 month warranty. I'll see how it lasts, but the company themselves don't have much confidence. . .

Plain and simple: This product does not work on the first generation Barnes & Noble Nook 3G.I have a first generation B&N Nook (3G) and decided I need a new battery in case my old one gives up the ghost. The price was right, so I decided to give this one a try. Bad idea. the battery simply does not charge. This may be because the capacity for this replacement battery is 1250mAh/4.6Wh, while the original battery is rated at 1530mAh/5.66Wh. Granted, I didn't look at my original battery with a magnifying glass to make absolutely certain, but my Nook's model number is right in the product description.What's the point of offering a battery replacement, if it doesn't match the model it's supposed to replace? The vendor probably has a ton of returns as a result of this oversight.

My trusty old Nook (1st edition) was getting harder to hold a charge after all these years. Once I popped this one in, I now have that same long lasting battery life! Much cheaper than getting a new Kobo or something.

I ordered the battery for my pocketbook and replaced it. Unfortunately, the e-book doesn't charge. I'm not sure on 100% that the problem in the battery. Maybe the problem in the e-book itself.

I purchased this replacement battery for my first gen Nook in late May 2014, it's already useless. I have to charge it after every single use now. Three months from a battery?

When I finally realized that a new battery was needed for my Nook, I, of course, went to my nearest Barnes & Noble. When I asked for it, I was informed that they didn't carry any. Thank God for Amazon, You not only had what I needed but I received it in a very timely manner. Thank you.
