36 inch Clear Acrylic Drapery Baton Wand with Stainless Steel Snap Hook

I used these drapery batons to replace some provided by Ethan Allen with the drapes. The Ethan Allen ones were cheaply made and half broke. I couldn't find replacements at any of the local fabric and drapery supply stores. These are just the right length. I had no trouble installing them. They are well-designed and made. I expect them to last longer than the drapes.

One piece construction so won't fall apart with use over time. Attaches via small hook on top. Nice substantial wand not like flimsy ones usually get with blinds. Bought so we wouldn't tug on linen drapes when moving on non-string traverse. Works amazingly well! Only wish they sold in 6ft length as need one for massive windows in livingroom!!

This is a very nice wand. Its transparent, very glossy and sturdy. Easy to attach. The only con is that I find it a bit hard to push the blinds with it because the snap hook will bend at an angle. Which was not the case with my previous drapery wand because it was solid and attached to the snap hook in a way that wand wouldn't bend at an angle. But then again that was easily breakable too as my toddler broke that in only second attempt because he just holds it and keeps rotating it. Kids,right!?( they play games with things we can't even imagine! ;))

My 36" drapery wands are great! Their thick and substantial, crystal clear, very attractive hanging next to my dark purple velour blackout drapes. Very glad I went with the 36" length as my drapes hang from a track on the ceiling. They came ultra fast and packaged securely.

They install quickly, though it is helpful to have a needle-nosed pliers to force the clips on the drapery hooks. Once installed, they're substantial enough to be able to close fairly heavy draperies without actually touching them with one's hands. This prevents leaving oils from one's skin on them and allows opening and closing in a swift flowing movement. They hang right out of sight and yet are easily accessible, so one can always find them without searching. I am considering purchasing them again for another similar application. I recommend them without reservation.Since writing the above, I've purchased them again for another window application. The first set were round (cylindrical) whereas those purchased more recently were square with rounded edges. It doesn't seem to alter their usefulness in any appreciable manner and they seem to be just as strong. No worries from my perspective. Since they're hidden behind the draperies, I can't imagine that the differing styles would matter much with the possible exception of the most demanding purchaser. Out of sight, out of mind.

I have floor to ceiling vertical blinds. This tool works well. However, I would suggest getting the longer length wand for longer blinds.

These are perfect rods for ease in opening & closing blackout drapes. I always request the pin-on clips since I prefer rod-pocket drapes. I’ve bought several of these over the past 10 years and they last!

Product is priced right, but too flimsy and feels like it will break - do not recommend - does not feel like it will last or is strong enough to move the curtains around and the wand flexes too much.
